Chapter 6

Caspian

I hear a voice coming from the left trail and say, "Lets go this way." and bolted down the trail. By the time I have made it to the end of the trail I realized that Ruby wasn't with me."Hey where's Ruby?" Ziva asked. "We must have gotten split up some how." I told them. "That is not good. She is going to get over whelmed by her desires. She will never make it out of there." Cleo told us. "She is a strong one. Just have to have a little faith, that's all." Ziva snapped at Cleo. "So do we just stand here while, she tries to make her way out? We are sitting ducks if we do that." Killian said.

"No, we don't just wait here. If Ruby is as strong as you say she is, then we need to think like her and what she would do in a situation like this." Cleo said to us. "Ruby, wouldn't want t be sitting ducks. She would want us to keep going." Ziva said to Cleo. "Then that is what we do. I know how to get to the main part of the castle." Cleo told us. We all followed Cleo and I walked beside her. I don't know what it is about her. But something draws me to her. "So where are you from?" I asked her while we quietly sneak behind servant's houses. "This is no the time for these questions, dude." she said back to me.

"Well when would be a good time?" I asked her. "When we all get out of here alive." she told me. We stopped behind this servant's house that is right next to a door that enters the castle. "We need to split up." Cleo tells us. "What are you fucking nuts?" Ziva asks her. "Its the only way. It won't be as suspicious if two people go at the same time unlike if four people did." she tells us. "Ok me and Ziva will go with each other." I told Cleo. "No, Caspian and I will go together, Killian and Ziva will go together." she tells us.

"I don't like this idea." Killian said. "No cares what you think, Vamper." Cleo snapped. Killian just rolled his eyes at her. Cleo pulled Ziva into her and whispered in her ear where to go and what to do and off they went into the kitchen. "Hey you didn't have to be all rude on him." I told her, while being in shock that I am defending him. "He will get over it." she says, peaks her head out from behind the house to see if anyone is coming and turns back towards me.

"Listen, you are hot an all. But I don't date." she says to me. "Why not?" I asked. "Because I am witch hunter, and one day will be here and the next I might not be. It is too much for the other person to handle. I have tried." she told me. "Maybe you haven't found the right person yet." I told her. She just shrugs her shoulders and peaks her head out again. Then quickly grabs my wrist and pulls slightly to let know we are about to move. 

She lounges out from behind the house, still holding on to my wrist and I am following right behind her and we get to a door that Ziva and Killian didn't go through. She opens the door and its nothing but darkness. She goes into the darkness and pulls me into it, then shuts the door behind us. "Where are we?" I ask. She shushes me and pulls me to keep following her. I see a long line of light. Cleo found a door and cracked it open a little to see out it. "What do you see out there?" I quietly ask her. "Empty hallway." she says and opens the door more. On the other side of the door is this ginormous hallway, painted in a gold color, with lots of columns holding up the ceiling of the hallway.

"Holy shit." I said and walked with Cleo down the hallway. "Look, Caspian. I like you. I don't know how or why because I literally just met you today. But this could be my last day alive. So I am gonna do something drastic." she tells. Before I could even asked what she meant, she pushed me up against a column and kisses me. There was nothing like I thought there was going to be, like: butterflies, fireworks,etc. Then I feel this cramp like pain in my side, then my muscles started to spasm, causing me to fall to the ground and then start flopping around the ground like a fish out of water. I just realized I was being tasered.

I wake up and my vision is all blurry, I rub my eyes and then my vision comes into focus and I see Ziva and Killian are sitting on the ground in front of me. "Where are we?" I asked them. "A goddamn mother fucking cell." Ziva says. I sit up and my head starts to  pound. I put pressure on the spot I think it is coming from. "Where is Cleo?" I asked them, because I looked around and didn't see her in the cell. "That bitch is working for Amara. She ain't no witch hunter, she is a god damn witch, that tricked all of us, even Ruby." Killian said while getting up  and then he punch the wall and made a dent into it.

I am a fucking idiot, thinking that she actually liked me. I was so naive from the beginning. I scooted up against the wall and laid my head back against it. "When do you guys get caught?" I asked them. "As soon as we walked into the castle kitchen. They were waiting for us." Ziva said to me. "Yea then an hour later Cleo walked up with the guards carrying you, threw you in here and basically spilled her guts to us. Then a couple hours later, you woke up." Killian said to me.

I was out longer than I thought I was. We heard jangling of keys coming from down the hall. We all look and see that it is Cleo and about five guards with her. "Oh, you are awake finally." she says to me and winks. "You bitch." I snapped at her. "Someone wake up on the wrong side of the cell?" she sarcastically asked me. I just rolled my eyes at her. "What do you want from us now?" Ziva asked her.

"Well it is time go. One at time boys and make sure to start with the vamper." she says and opens the cell. Killian uses his vampire speed to get out of the cell and snap one guards necks. "Fucking idiots." Cleo says and throws this  powder in his face and he yells out in pain. "Use those ones. They are made for locking up vampires." she says and hands them a brightly colored blue handcuffs. The guards grab him quickly while he is down and throw the cuffs on him and Killian screams out in pain even more.

"What did you do to him?" Ziva asked her. "Everyone has weaknesses, with vampires it is witch hazel and silver and of course the sun but he has a daylight right that won't come off unless the witch who made it dies." she tells us. "And she won't be found ever." he cried through the pain. The guards walked him down the hall and he screams faded away. "Why are you working with her?" I asked Cleo. "Who? Amara? Let's just say in runs in the family. Every member of my family has served her." she told us.

The guards come back and Cleo tells them, "take fish girl next". Ziva stands up and backs into a corner. I get up and stand between her and guard. "Move boy." the guard says to me. I spit in his face. He wipes it off his face and shrugs to the other guard. The other guard grabs my arm throws to me to the side, like a rag doll. The guards grab Ziva and place cuffs on her, walk her out of the cell and down the hall.

"Now it is the just both of us hottie." Cleo says and winks at me. "Never in a million years." I told her. "Oh a change of heart?" she asked me. "You are a liar. I don't date liars." I tell her. She just chuckles and I eye her. The guards come back and pulls out a gun from her pocket and points it at me. My eyes got big and she noticed that. "Oh don't worry, this gun won't kill you. It is just make you take another nap. Can't trust you dog." she says to me with a big grin on her face and pulls the trigger. The dart that came out from the gun hits me right in the chest and I fall down and my vision goes blurry and then everything goes black.

I wake up, my vision is still blurry and I can feel my arms are up in the air. I look up and see that they are chained up to a board on a wall. So is Grammie Anne, Ziva and Killian and another guy. I look around the room we are in, there are guards everywhere and there is a big fire roaring in the fire place in the middle of the room. I hear doors opening and a voice say, "So glad you could join us". Out of the shadows came Amara and she was saying that Ruby and another woman with Ruby. I have seen that woman before, but only in pictures. It was Ruby's mom.
