Megan sat on her bed, contemplating the question. She didn't even know what the small disk had in-store. "To be honest, I just thought it looked cool." Rising up from the carpeted floor, Orrin grabbed the disk and scanned it. "It could be someones shitty rap playlist. That has happen to me a multitude of times." Megan rolled her eyes,"why would that be in a game case?" The taller male shrugged "there are lots of weirdos out there...like me!" Orrin shot finger guns at his friend, only to leave her partially questioning their friendship.
"..."
"...are we still friends?"
Megan gave her friend a blank stare, she grabs the disk and ambles to her desktop. She scans the disk, 'hopefully this wont give me a virus or something...' placing the disk in the system unit. The monitor flickered on, a stream of bright flashing colors blased the screen. The screen then went black, only showing white text-
Megan stared at her screen, 'thats a way to start a game...' She thought. Orrin gasped shuffled tward where the young girl was sitting. The screen continued to speak.
"Ooohhhh mmaaaaggggiiiicccc~"
"Shhh! Its still going Orrin!"
Both adolescents looked at each other with two different expressins, Orrin with glee amd Megan with utter confusion. ''Would you like to continue? What does that even mean, where's the other save file?' Megan moved her mouse and hoverd over the 'no' option before being apprehended."Why are you starting over? Lets see what the other guy had in his saveeee!" Orrin whined.
"I want to start the game properly! I dont wanna be right in the middle of the story!"
"Its gonna be way easier if you just hover over 'yes'.."
"I dont do easier bud..."
Megan clicked the 'No' option, the screen proceeds to turn black and slightly shakes. The brunette slowly backed away from the screen, leaving Orrin still closely huddled near by. Hypnotic colors flashed the screen leaving him in a daze, spurts of light brashed out from the monitor. Whith every second the screen continued to rattle and shake whith fury. Megan was stuck in place, mouth ajar, and eyes nearly protruding from her skull. 'Do something Megan! Anything but just stand here!' She thought but nothing came out. Then a single red wire exited the computer's frame, it moved like it was sentient limb attached to a living being. The wire slowly caressed Orrins face, just as a mother would to a upset child. He didn't react to the sudden touch, his gase fixated on the bright colors flashing. Three more wires of different colors emerge as well, doing the same movements as the first did. Then the red wire coiled to his head, piercing his skin. Other wires proceed the same with stabbing various places.
The monitor's rattling came to a sudden holt. An empty black void stared back at them...ominous. Megan stared at her friend now motionless in one sitting. Thoughts and fear surged through the girls mind. Before she could react to the horrific display before her, more colored wires snake up her legs and arms. Megan trys to kick and pull the wires of in desperation but to no avail it didn't work. The brunette continues to struggle from the wires grasp but more emerged from the monitor. Megan grunted as she was completely coverd head to toe in wires. She turned her head slightly to the blank screen which now had a new message.
Tₕₐₙₖ Yₒᵤ ₕₑᵣₒₛ....yₒᵤ ₕₐᵥₑ ₘₐdₑ ₐₙ ₑₓcₑₗₗₑₙₜ cₕₒᵢcₑ...
Megan's eyes widened and before she could react, a rogue wire stuck her in the head. Each fiber of copper and brass entered her brain, causing everything to go black.
