Goblins, witches, freaks of all kinds filled the rooms tables. Each one coverd in decorative armor and weapons. Some humans even were sharing a few good laughs with them. Megan stood at the entrance, knees slightly shaking as she quickly left the building and stood outside. Slightly bending over to catch her breath, 'dont be scared, you've seen things like this before Megan! Its not that intense, plus they seem docile to humans...wait are they human?' Well seeing creatures like that is completely diffrent from a game, its way more terrifying. Claws, potions could possibly end her adventure before it has even started!
"Quit being a coward Megan! They arent going to hurt you unless you do something stupid," she slightly slapped her face with her hands to gain confidence. A small child stared at the red hooded stranger and quickly ran away, 'now im scaring children...lets just get this over with.' Swinging bar doors release a waft of achohol, still ever so busy. Megan awkwardly shuffled to a bar seat and gased at the assortment of drinks, each title being in a foreign language. "There is a good chance I can't even drink this stuff. What dose it even say," squinting her eyes to try to make sence of the scribbles on the bottles. A few minutes go by and Megan is able to slightly decode one red bottle, "Bloody f-orest... Ha i did it!", she sat up in the stool, pleased with her deciphering skills.
While Megan was basking in all her greatness, two grey rabbit ears popped up behind the counter. They twitched a bit, the left slightly hanging downwards and the other upright. Megan stared at the small pair, she didn't really know what to do in this situation, should she touch them? They were really fluffy looking, maybe it won't hurt to slightly poke them...right? Megan reached out her hand and toched the left ear causing both pair to quickly shoot down.
"Kury, I swear if thats you again im going tO ACTUALLY-," the grey ears rose up to reveal a girl with short light purple hair and a black shirt with various designs. Her emotions quickly changed from complete rage to fear, she the apologied quite alot
"I am soooo sorry ma'am! I thought you were a friend of mine...he usually does that."
"No its fine! I shouldn't have toched them anyways."
The young hare gave a weary smile then gestured to the assortment of drinks that was behind her. " W-welcome to the Barrel! What would you like to drink today?" The brunette rejected the question, "I dont think I can drink any of that." Silence waved over the two, even the once loud building seemed quiet. The young barista gazed at the females armour, " Ah, you must be a hero right? What guild are you in?"
'Guild, hero, what even..?'
"Ermm, im not in a guild, or a hero. Im looking for a friend."
"UWAAA? How can you not be one? You have the armor of one... Do you want to be...?"
"Not really, look im looking for a friend of mine. He has white hair that is pink on the ends, has a scar on his left eye, ever seen someone like that walk in?"
"Hmmm...no im sorry I can't help you with that ma'am. Mabey he walked through the forest? It leads to the big city!"
Megan nodded and began to leave the bar stool when she was stopped by the hybrid. "You cant go now! That forest is literally a walking death trap at night, try in the morning," the hare walked outside to reveal the moon and stars shining ever so bright. 'ehhh? How did it get so dark?'
"Plus the only way for you to have any good chance out there is to join a guild! If you dont then you could severely hurt yourself!" Megan thought about the warning, she couldn't find Orrin if she was dead, but is a guild necessary?
"So...what are you going to do ma'am?"
"I'll take your advice, but where do I sleep?"
The hybrids eyes lit up, she helped someone today avoid complete doom! She never gets to do cool stuff like that, well its not that cool but to her it was. "There's an Inn near here, just a few minutes down the road. I'll take you there if you want.."
