Day XXI: Christmas Movie AU

I can't think of a Christmas movie with a couple other than Hallmark movies. Like honestly? I'm tempted to make this a crack one shot. Instead, this will just be baby Steve and pupper Sargeant. You're welcome aliienated_.

Movie: Santa Pups

"Wook! A puppy!" Little Steve screeched at the other orphanage children. He pointed to the window that had a ladder and small balcony on it; Just big enough to slip out in the night without anyone knowing. The rest of the children turned their heads, lighting up with pure joy. Their eyes were filled with happiness and, although it sounds cheesy, Christmas joy.

The children ran to the window, Steve leading them. He unlocked it before opening the window, grinning from ear to ear. The small puppy had beautiful golden fur and bright green eyes. It only made some small noises, which was good if they were actually going to hide this pupper in the orphanage.

But, the strangest part about this particular dog was the bright glowing baby blue crystal around its neck connected to a red collar. Steve hugged the puppy close, giggling. "His nwame is Swargeant." He declared, making the others squeal with excitement. To the orphans,this was a Christmas miracle.

"But Steeb, where will we hide Swarg?" One of the boys chirped up, causing commotion in the small group that had gathered. Steve thought about this a moment before getting a bright idea. "Let's hide him in the basement! We can take turns sleeping down there with him so he's not lonely too!"

The other kids nodded in agreement as even the small pupper joined in yapping. And, so, the journey began.
