Third person POV

As Haley walked up to the door she couldn't help but think about the note and the dream. She couldn't get it out of her head. The possibility that her brother was going to die is eating at her.
Looking out the window of her room she listens the rain beating on the glass. 'Ironic.' She thought. Hayley blew out a breath of air before heading to Levi's room.
"Hey lev." The sentence short with a tremble in her voice.
"Hey, you good? You look horrible." He stated with a short chuckle.
She rolled her eyes. "Thanks knucklehead." Hayley laughed shortly. "But no, I'm not good. I'm still shaken up about this whole thing." Hayley looked down at her feet. Her brother patted to the spot next to him "Come here." Hayley did as he said and sat next to him. "Look I can't promise everything is gonna go back to normal because it won't. But I can say we'll be alright as long as we have each other."
"Thanks Lev." She sighed into his chest.
"No problem." As he pulled her closer, both tired teens dozed off into a dreamless sleep.
Levi woke to the sun beating on their face through the window, groaning he got up making sure not to wake his sister. Walking down stairs he heard his dad talking to Officer Collins, he stopped shortly to listen. "Mr. Rhodes I understand your daughter was shaken up but we really need to know more information."
"Look Officer I understand you need more information but give her a break. She saw a dead person in the creek, you really think she wants to talk to you right now?" Levi could tell his dad was getting irritated, it wasn't hard to notice it in his voice.
"Officer Collins what brings you here." Levi made himself known trying to make it seem he just got there. Both his dad and Collins looked up at him, "Hey Levi, me and your dad were just talking about the case. Nothing to worry about."
"I can help if you want me to, I don't have that much information but I can try." He stood with his back straightened trying to seem calm and collected, when in reality he was fucking terrified.
"Thanks Levi but we really need to talk with Hayley."
"She's sleeping right now. But we can give you a call after she wakes up."
"No we won't do that. She's not stable at the moment Lev, you know this." Hunter speaks up from where he was standing, both men looked at him.
"Dad, the sooner they talk to her the sooner they find the fucker who did this to James dad." Levi looked away from his father to look at Collins, "she's going to hate me but I'll give you a call when she wakes up."
"Thank you kid. We'll be on our way then." Officer Collins turned around and left. Mr. Rhodes looked at Levi incredulously, not processing what his son had said. Levi only shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
Levi walked into his room only to see Haley not there. In a slight panic he ran to her room and sure enough there she was sleeping peacefully, he walked over quietly and pulled the blankets over her. Upon walking in his room Levi spotted a note on his dressed. Curious, he opened the folded paper and red the note.
James was only the first. You may or may not be next. Hell if I can't get to you maybe I'll go after Hayley or little Kaden. Until I decide watch your back Levi.

He dropped the note and hastily walked to Hayley's room to show her. He shook Hayley awake, she groaned and rubbed her eyes as she woke.
"Hayley-" he was stopped short when her eyes widened and she snatched the note from her brothers hand.
"Where'd you get this?" She shook the note in front of his face. "Huh? Levi where the fuck did you get this?" Hayley's voice rose one octave.
"Hayley lower your voice ok?" He sighed and rubbed his face, "I found it on my dresser, it wasn't there when I walked in the first time to see if you were still there. After I seen you in here I went back and there it was." Hayley looked up from the note to look at him. She jabbed his finger into his chest, "You don't tell mom or dad or the fucking police. I got one too. They can't know."
"Hayley we have to tell them." Levi sighed as he looked to his sister.
"Levi, we can't. What are the chances this bastard comes for you after we tell them huh? The chances of that are high. We can't tell anyone, not until we figure this shit out." Backing away Hayley turns to her nightstand and pulls open the drawer, after she grabs what she was looking for she hands it to Levi.
"I found this yesterday on my nightstand." Levi looked at her before opening it, "He was a good kid. A shame he go out this way. But you'll know why I did it soon Hayley Fox. As of right now, keep watch of your brother Levi. It's always the good ones that go." He read aloud.
"That's why we can't. I have a feeling if we start our own investigation we can get to this faster than the police. But as of right now we can't ok?" She asks hopefully.
Levi let out a deep sigh and raked his fingers through his hair, "Fine we won't tell anyone, but the minute this gets out of control I'm telling Officer Collins." His sister nodded and hugged him. He wrapped his arms around her small frame, kissed the top of her head and raked his fingers through her hair in attempt to calm her nerves along with his own.
