"You are still breathing." Theodore said without any sign of humor on his voice. Joner deadpanned at the crystal.

"Theodore, I swear this is not the time to joke arou---" Joner cursed to himself when cyrus suddenly stopped.

Maybe if he paid more attention to his surrounding, baka napansin nya na may naramdaman si cyrus na di tama. Halos nakalimutan na ni Joner na kausap nya si theodore sa kabilang linya.

The connection between him and theodore somehow disconnected. Joner grits his teeth before stretching his hand in front of him.
