Morgan
I laid in the hospital bed waiting for someone, anyone to come to my aide. It had been a full 45 minutes since I talked to Byron and they still weren't here yet. I bet Brooke did something to make them not show up. This is so like her. I shook my head as another pain shot through my side. I was hooked up to so many wires and they were gonna induce my labor because the baby's heart rate was up and down. I called Liam, of course, he's indisposed right now. He said he would be here when he got here.
How did I marry someone so toxic and unloving? Why was this my life? I continued to cry, and about five minutes later there was a knock on my door. A nurse peeked her head in, "There are a few people here they say they are your brothers and sister." "Oh yea, they can come in," I said quickly wiping my eyes. I really didn't want Brooke seeing me down like this, she would have a field day. They all walked in. "Hey, you okay?" Byron asked coming to my side. "They are inducing me, they say the baby's heart rate is up and down." I looked over his shoulder, Maurice was standing next to Brooke looking at the floor she was glaring at me. "Hey Maurice," I said knowing that it would cause her to get mad. Why was I like this? He looked up not speaking to me. "Yo, you disrespectful as fuck." My brother spoke. "I'll go wait in the waiting room," Maurice spoke lightly. "No. You stay here. She needs to tighten up before we all leave her ass in here lonely, looking dumb as hell. I don't understand." He said now speaking to me directly.
Our whole life you been messing with Brooke. That's your sister, you the oldest and you act like a fucking baby all the time for no good reason. You slept with her man, that was pretty fucked up. You know how much she loves him. Now you in here flirting with him after the shit!" "Baby calm down. You don't wanna make her upset." Luke said. "I don't give a fuck if she gets mad." "Babe, the baby." He said pointing to the monitor. I sighed. I didn't want anything happening to oulil niece or nephew.
Byron just sat off in the corner the room was silent. I hated it. "You got everything," I spoke quietly. Brooke finally acknowledged me with a softened look. "You got everything but yet, you don't complain about wanting more. You've always been unapologetic about what you would tolerate, what you wanted. I guess I've always been jealous of you." She just stared at me. I knew she was eating this up.
Brooke
I stared at her but it wasn't because I finally understood her. I honestly didn't believe shit she was spitting right now. She's very manipulative and I had learned that throughout the years. I didn't want to discuss this right now anyway. "It's not the time for that, Morgan. Do you want us to call Liam for you or something, have you even spoke with him?" I asked smartly. "I called already. He's busy."
I scrunched up my face. "I always wondered why you chose him?" I mumbled under my breath. She must have heard me because she shot me a unit. "He wasn't always like this, somewhere down the line he just started hating me." She said. I could see her eyes filling up with tears. "I didn't mean to bring it up, just calm down for the baby's sake." She scoffed. "Hmm, the baby? So nobody is concerned about me. That's fucked up." See here she goes. I shook my head. It wasn't even worth me being nice to this bitch.
"I'm sure she didn't mean it like that," Luke spoke up. "I didn't," I said as a matter of factly. "I don't even know why- "Stop it! Okay just stop!" She was cut off by Maurice. He promised he wouldn't even look her way, but now, here he was coming to our rescue once again. "You're so inconsiderate. You act as no one cares about you when you're the reason why we're here anyway! We shouldn't even be here, to be honest, your husband should but he left you. Probably because of your fucking attitude. You manipulate people to get what you want, then you complain about it. That's so selfish of you." She looked with tears in her eyes. Why was she so dramatic? "Okay everyone, let's take a small breather, everyone just please relax. Okay." Luke said sadly.
