My blanket is my protector

Shielding me from the night

Inky blobs transform into terrifying monsters

Plaguing my dream and hiding in the dark

I've never seen such creature's in my conscious state

When I'm asleep my body being to throb

For I know I'll die a horrible fate

Bombing, murder, falling from heights

Never the same, always a bite

I dear not move a muscle

For if I do, I fear I'll never leave this nightmare
