Half a year has passed and jungkook managed to get better, I became close to both my stepbrothers. We fight often times but we always apologize, surprisingly enough we all have things in common so it wasn't difficult to hang out and talk about certain subject. Even though me and namjoon are still enemies we are somewhat friends ish now, at school he hasn't changed much except for that he doesn't force or blackmail me anymore.
Life was going well and our parents liked the fact of how close we all are and they'd often leave us alone in the house to spend movie nights and game nights together. We didn't mind. It's a week before winter break and our school decided to give a special little festival. The whole school was busy and everyone was excited except me, I don't get it why I'm dragged into this shit. Yeah Christmas is near but why am I supposed to be in a Christmas mood. Even everyone in my house has the Christmas spirit and constantly talking about decorating, presents etc.
And then you have me standing in the school's rooftop, alone and spacing out. I sighed.
"Why are you gloomy, angel?" I shrieked, Kai stood behind me laughing. I calmed down and turned around to stare at the scenery again. "I'm not gloomy, Kai . I'm just getting some fresh air." He walked over to me and leaned against the railing and trying to make himself warm as it was very cold here outside but I'm not really affected by the cold so it wasn't a big deal for me. We stayed in silence and enjoyed each other's company before I broke the silence.
"Got something up?" He looked up.
"No just feeling a bit out of the Christmas mood lately." He laughed and smiled at me, I smiled back and scooted closer. Eventually leaning on to him, he wrapped his arm around me and laid his head on top of mine. "You're warm." I said which made him chuckle. "And you're cold." He responded cheekily and we laughed. After we both decided to go back in class, Kai got a call and nervously whispered to the caller. I asked what's wrong but he refused to tell and instead left, confused I walked back to my classroom.
Namjoon's words from three months ago at the hospital played in my mind again but come on me and Kai have been going strong for the past few months and till now I haven't noticed anything suspicious other than Namjoon just being really annoying and constantly saying to break up or that he's bad news. Tch he's just jealous that I can be committed to one guy while he can't to one girl and is just a completely man slut no shade.
Jisoo wasn't in the classroom too so I decided to just go and see if Taehyung and somi were available, I walked to the cafeteria since they told me they would go to the cafeteria to get some snacks. Not long after I entered I spotted them immediately, eating kalguksu.
"Yah! Where is my food, huh?" Taehyung looked up and teasingly put his spoon in his mouth before telling me how good the food is. Somi smacked him causing him to choke, I sat down and quietly ate somi's food while she's busy nagging at Taehyung. "Do any of you know where jisoo is?"
