3rd POV It's been a two months where Y/N was in coma, after the incident Namjoon stayed by her side day and night and no matter which bestfriend or even his little brother tried to get him to at least eat he refused, at this point he looked like a living zombie but he was determined that Y/N would wake up even though the doctors are on the verge of giving up and losing hope. The taesoo couple took care of baby soobin and treated him as their own, Taehyung was devastated to see Namjoon and Y/N's heartbreaking situation. Jisoo was crying almost every day and night to see her bestfriend so lifeless and to see her bestfriend in coma but there was nothing the pair could do but to pray and to not lose hope and to also take care of baby soobin.
"Any news on Kai ?" Taehyung asked Jungkook, looking into the hospital doors opening and seeing his sleepless bestfriend next to his wife trying to take care of his wife. Jungkook took out his phone from his jean back pocket and scrolled through the previous messages between him and the detective taking care of this case.
"He's in jail and will be sentenced to death, according to mingyu he did drugs and sold them illegally at school, got into fights with mafia gang leaders and their gangs, was part of a human trafficking group and held hostage three girls before the cops in LA raised the place they were in and arresting his members and freed the girls, he on the other hand escaped and got himself involved in some cocaine illegal club parties where he got high often, his parents kicked him out of the house and his ex girlfriend disrespected him resulting in him getting angry, taking advantage of her while she was drunk after they hung out in the club to have some fun and murdered her mercilessly. Finding out he was wanted in LA he flew back to South Korea where he changed his name from jongin to Kim jongin Kai and faked a school ID to which I suppose he became a student at our school and the rest is history."
Shock overwhelmed Taehyung to know how dark and dangerous Kai was, he thought Kai was harmless when they first met but his guts and instincts told him otherwise and guess what, they were right in the end Kai could've murdered his bestfriend's wife who's now in coma fighting for her life.
Jungkook excused himself to the hospital's restroom and Taehyung just stayed there, sighing deeply before turning around. He was about to go back to their home when he heard Namjoon's voice yelling out for the doctors and nurses to come. They rushed in to see slight hand movements from Y/N, she's waking up they thought. Namjoon calmly waited as Y/N fluttered her eyes open, the doctors and nurses checking her temperature and to see if her health is alright and also to see if she's feeling any pain and is okay, "Namjoon." Was all Y/N muttered, Namjoon took her hand in his and smiled warmly at his wife.
"I'm here dear, I'm here." Y/N started crying in joy and hugged Namjoon tightly, missing the warmth of his body and the sound of his voice. Namjoon cried as well and gave the doctors and nurses thumbs up to signal that Y/N is alright and they're free to go, they nodded and left the pair alone in the room. They hugged each other for what seems like hours before they both let go, "I missed you so much." Namjoon whispered as he placed his forehead on Y/N's forehead. Y/N smiled and wiped away Namjoon's tears, "I missed you too, you dork."
They laughed and kissed each other after such a long time again, "for how long was I out?" Namjoon hesitated a bit to answer but he answered anyways.
"Two months—"
"WAIT WHAT, Where's baby soobin??? What happened to him??? Is he alright??? Oh you look tired, are you okay joonie??? I'm sorry." She whispered, he calmed her down by giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Baby Soobin is in Taehyung's and Jisoo's, the taesoo couple's care and he's doing amazing according to Taehyung. Jisoo is a bit very on the emotional side but she's doing a wonderful job supporting baby soobin as well as Taehyung. As for me I'm a little bit tired and very sleepless but it's worth it and don't apologize it's okay." He smiled and Y/N's guilt washed away and she was touched by everything as her heart softened.
"I love you." She managed to say, he was caught of guard but he hugged her again and whispered. "I love you too." Back to her, unbeknownst to them Taehyung were smiled at the sight and called Jisoo to inform that Y/N's awake.
Namjoon cupped Y/N's face in his hands while tears streamed down his cheeks, Y/N was caught off guard but he was smiling warmly at her. "I'm sorry. I really am." He apologized and Y/N rolled her eyes, let his hands go and kissed his forehead. He cried and she held him in her arms while he carefully wrapped his around her fragile body.
"Why should you be? Just remember I wouldn't get mad at you for what you've done because in the end you still saved me and that's what matters." Her words made him cry even more as they both hugged each other.
"I guess we do have our happy ending." They both said at the same time causing them to laugh out loud.
•This book finally has come to it's end!!! Phew it was long journey to get here, it was interesting and fun but stressful as well and I wish y'all enjoyed this book Touch so far, thank you a lot for reading and coming with me on this journey and putting up with me and my cliffhangers of this book Touch. It isn't the end yet, I might do a sequel too that is if y'all want but if now it's okay I might or might not do sequel anyways. Love y'all very much❤️!!!•
