**BITCHES YOU BEST GET READY BECAUSE THEM WIGS GONNA FLY. OUR BABY JEDREK IS BACK AND HE CAME SWINGIN!**

Roxie's POV

For the first time in my life, things seemed to actually be working out. The last two weeks had been the happiest since I could remember. I finally got myself into my gynecologist to get the baby checked and make sure everything was okay. I was shocked to find out that they placed me four weeks along - some weird thing to do with pregnancy dating beginning on the first day of my last period. According to Khloe this morning, baby A (short for Adelaide because I'm positive it will be a girl) is the size of a sweet pea - which she/it hasn't been as of recently. The second I turned six weeks pregnant a few days ago, the morning sickness kicked in and started kicking my ass. I haven't been able to keep damn near anything down.

"This article here says that severe morning sickness can actually be a sign of a healthier, more intelligent baby. It's also been linked to a lower risk of miscarriage in some women," Ivy commented positively while scrolling through a website on Ezekiel's computer. I snorted at her but secretly was so thankful to have someone here to help reassure me that everything was okay.

"Are you going through my shit again? I just changed my password!" Ezekiel playfully growled after entering his office. Ivy giggled before pushing away from the desk ever so slightly.

"No, I was just doing some research for Rox. Besides, the day I stop getting in is the day your passwords stop being so predictable," she teased. He just shook his head with a big smile and leaned down to peck her lips. I watched on happily, forever thankful that I put those two together.

My best friends' budding relationships were part of the reason things had been so good. Khloe and Xander were still going strong and didn't shut me out when I lived vicariously through their relationship. Milo and Candice had left three days ago for their "meeting" in South Carolina. I hadn't heard a peep from Milo since they boarded the plane. His silence could mean one of two things; either everything was going so terribly he didn't have time to reply to any of my texts because he was doing damage control, or it's going so great that he can't be bothered to even check his phone.

I'm really rooting for the latter of the two.

As far as Ivy and Ezekiel go...I finally found out what FIAA stood for. I begged them both to use a different acronym or pick a new saying because knowing he was 'fucking Ivy all afternoon' made it impossible to walk by his private office door without blushing profusely. However, it was nice to have Ivy hanging around all the time since she was the only one I could really talk to while at work. Ezekiel was always running off somewhere to attend to something or approve a design. Evelyn was still bitter about me "taking" some of her work even though she would be screwed without my help - something I witnessed first hand when she tried to give me the bare minimum and ended up fucking herself over by missing deadlines and due dates for numerous things.

She was slowly coming around to the realization that there was no way in hell she could handle double the workload she used to have all on her own, but the hostility was still there. However, I think that she's starting to warm up to me - or maybe just defrosting a little of the ice around her heart.

The jury is still out on that one.

Either way, I just brushed it off. As far as Amelia, Alexandra, and Old Bitch (as I liked to call her) went, they avoided me at every chance possible. I was perfectly fine with the arrangement, though. I didn't want someone kissing my ass because they thought I would run and tattle to the boss about what they said about me.

Sighing, I finished highlighting a few important details on a schedule Ezekiel needed by the end of the day and set it on his desk. Going back to my desk, I plopped down into my chair and wiggled my computer mouse to wake the machine up. Opening the notes I'd typed up from a board meeting today, I sent them to the printer so I could give a copy to each of the attendees to reference if needed later on.
