A while later voices begin to erupt from the doors at the front of the hall. Now parading into the trial room were countless politicians, ambassadors, viscounts, dukes of all importance, even barons, and last but not least the royal family. Each took their place either in the jury's court, on the risers, or the stage. Soon the trumpets sounded relieving the room of chatter. The king gave a short speech, and then announced the first case. A man and woman were being dragged out by their wrists. They looked ragged like they hadn't slept or eaten in days. The guards continued to drag them along the floor, then pulling them up and into chairs fastening the loops of rope around their arms to the chair. The woman cried out as she was kicked in the shin by a guard trying to tie her arms down. A forceful hand then came up and slapped her across face silencing her screams. The king raised a hand to speak.

King Gregory: What are your crimes?

Woman: S-stealing.

King Gregory: Are you pleading guilty to your actions?

Woman: Y-yes I a-am.

Jury: Your sentence is four months!

(The woman nods and waits for the man to be tried.

King Gregory: Sir, what are your crimes?

Man: Killing 5 people.

King Gregory: Do you plead guilty to your actions?

Man: No I do not!

King Gregory: You realize we have footage of you stabbing 2 women in the neck, and then brutally raping 3 more.

Man: Yes.. I suppose I do know you have footage of that.

King Gregory: So are you pleading guilty to your actions?

Man: Yes I guess I am Gregory.

Guard: Do not call the king by his name you filthy bastard!

(The two were then led from the room the man fighting in a rage never getting his sentence.)

Then a figure stepped forward, and walked towards the stage bowing before whispering in the kings ear. He tensed up, and it seemed like the entire room did the same.

Three guards then walked in ahead. In the middle were four guards holding on to another man dressed in all black. They led him up to the chairs and looped the ropes around his wrists like they had done before. This man had brown hair, a good build, green eyes, and walked with such patience you couldn't even tell he was a criminal.

(Ellie perked up from her spot on the rafters and got ready to plunge down.)

King Gregory: Your crimes?

Man: ...

King Gregory: Your crimes!?

Man: *chuckles*

(Suddenly Ellie leaps from the rafters flying down, and landing softly next to the man. She had cut the ropes as she had swung by, and was now helping the man up. They guards rushed up to grab the two, but were far too slow. The pair had already shot back up to the rafters, and crawled into the passage. Below you could hear the king barking orders to the guards to surround the perimeter of the palace.

Meanwhile Ellie and the man had been walking  and turning this way and that through the passages looking for the right exit. Soon they came upon what they were looking for, a big door marked escape. They suddenly stopped.

Man: Thanks for saving me..

Ellie: It was my job division commander. You should stop getting yourself into trouble. This better be the first and last time you get caught in a palace raid.

Division Commander: Alright, alright. Fine no more trouble. Now can we get out of here I'm starving for some meatloaf.

Ellie: Really? I just rescued you and you said I'm starving for meatloaf? Unbelievable!

(Ellie continues to push another panel in the wall opening a staircase that leads to the roof. Now on top of the palace she can see every guard station, and choose her exit wisely. Below the two hear shouting coming in their direction. Two guards have spotted them and now they were setting up spotlights. Jumping into action Ellie hands the Division Commander a grappling hook and jumps. Soaring though the air about 30 feet from the ground she clicks the gun like machine and a rope with a spear hook on the end of it shoots out and into the outer palace wall. She climbs up to the top waiting for the Commander. It takes one more minute for him to get there by which time the guards had started closing in.)

Ellie: You're so slow! You get back to the base. I'll lead them off. Also when you get back be sure to tell the first commander what trouble you've caused me and I should be back by tomorrow evening. If I'm not...

Division Commander: We both know it won't happen. Now let's go slowpoke.

Ellie gives him a glare and then leaps off the wall into the darkness below. The Commander hears a soft thud and then quick footsteps in the opposite direction of where he was headed. He then jumps off plunging into darkness, and returns to the base.
