Chapter 4

~oOo~ Ellie's POV
  I woke up to a throbbing pain in my head. I was in the hospital wing as I had been many times before. I had on a black nightgown and several wraps for my injuries. Several minutes later the division commander and first commander walked in talking furiously. Suddenly noticing I was awake the first commander rushed over taking my hand.

First Rou Commander: Ellie! You're already awake! I don't understand how you recover so quickly.

Ellie: *chuckle* I'm a natural survivor you know..

Division Commander: Do you remember what happened?

Ellie: Not all of it. I do remember after you left I led them in the opposite direction for about half an hour. Then I circled back around to come back after I lost them. I had just gotten to the spot where we parted ways, and I heard dogs! They have dogs!

First Rou Commander: Well now we have confirmation they have dogs. Your run-in has helped us form even better plans. What happened after that.

Ellie: Well I think... ok.. I hopped down to try and spot them, but it turns out the dogs were right there. They started barking alerting the guards so I tried climbing back up the tree, but I wasn't fast enough. They pulled me down and tied me up. I think I got these because of microscopic hooks (Points to injuries). After that I got pushed so I lunged at someone and I don't really remember anything from there.
Well I need to train. Soooooooo..
(Ellie tries to get up and make a break for the workout room. The commander then grabs her wrist attaching three pairs of handcuffs to her wrist and the bed.)

First Rou Commander: Nah ah ah missy!

Ellie: Really!? You little!

First Rou Commander: I knew you would try to get out even though your hurt. Every single time. Now we have to leave so don't go anywhere.

(Ellie glares at him so hard it's like she's staring into their souls. The first commander smiles and saunters off through the door.)

Division Commander: Try not to get too bored. Bye hun...

(They are both out of the room now and Ellie takes the needle out of the IV tube, and starts picking the locks.)

Ellie: They are both idiots. Finished.
(She takes the needle and places it back into the IV tube. Slowly she gets up wincing once or twice, and heads towards the workout room quiet as a mouse.)

A while later

~oOo~ First Rou Commander POV
(Damn those meetings are always boring. Time to go check on Ellie.)

The FRC walks into Ellie's medical room and starts talking then looks up, and sees the handcuffs dangling from the bed post.

FRC: Dammit I knew I should've handcuffed both wrists!

~nurse comes rushing in~

Nurse: First Commander what is it-? Oh gosh dang it that girl!

FRC: Find her now!

Nurse: Right away sir.

(Two minutes later the nurse rushes in)

Nurse: Found her sir! She's in the workout out room on the treadmill. She said she would be moving onto the bags in about 5 minutes.

FRC: Alright I'll go wrestle her back here.

One Short minute later...

The FRC comes bearing a light Ellie on his shoulders.

Ellie: Can you relax I was taking it easy! You never had to handcuff me to the bed!

FRC: Yes I kind of did. Plus tonight we have to watch the nomination ceremony for the Coelesce. You are the only one from the rebels eligible enough to put your name in..

Ellie: I didn't have a choice wether I put my name in or not. Only 10 girls are selected so It's probably not going to be me.

FRC: Well there is still a chance. If you are chosen to compete you can work inside the palace walls for us. You could kill the prince, and return to become our queen. You very important Ellie. There's no one quite like you either..

Ellie: Whatever. My injuries have almost healed so I should be good. Also, my body regenerates faster than the normal human because of the injection so you should stop asking why I heal so quickly because you already know.
