Chapter 5:
"Heyyyyyyy Mr. Dockworth how's it going?" I asked him, trying to be sly.
"Now Lana, I know you are my favorite student, but if I let you off the hook for this then it would be unfair to other students..."
"Im having a bad day though, please just let me off the hook?" Pouting, I asked.
He pulled a detention slip off his clipboard.
"No! Mr. Dockworth, you don't want to do that, you see, if you do that then I will no longer tolerate you in CW 11."
"Oh darn... That's to bad Lana, really you were a great student." Mr. Dockworth said sarcastically, handing me the pink detention slip.
"See you in my classroom with the others after school." He said as he walked away.
Well this blows.
Not only did I have detention, but now I had to go to my lame ass U.S. History class.
After school came too soon and before you knew it, I was in Mr. Dockworths classroom with jocks and sluts that got caught making out with the jocks behind the back building.
"Mr. Dockworth, as much as I appreciate you caring about my education and all... You know I really don't belong in here with these people." I whispered, watching as the jocks made moves on the sluts. Mr. Dockworth just laughed and pointed to an empty seat for me to sit in.
"Lana you can start on that 5,000 word short story now." He said. I nodded and pulled out my laptop.
This is a story of a girl who skipped class to go home and got caught by her Creative Writing teacher. She now sits at a dirty school desk next to sluts and jocks, typing her punishment. All she wanted to do is skip school, go home, and watch Supernatural, but her horrible CW teacher, Mr. Cockworth, decided to give her detention.
I held in my laughter as I typed.
Hey... Mr. Dockworth never gave me restrictions so this is what he shall get.
The classroom door opened and I watched as Peyton strode in, smiling at me as he walked up to Mr. Dockworths desk.
"What are you doing here?" I mouthed to him. All he did was wink and continue with whatever he was talking to the teacher about. I watched, confused as he walked casually towards me.
"You're off the hook Meyers." Peyton smiled.
"How....?" I asked, looking at Mr. Dockworth who was smiling.
"I have my ways. Now lets go before he changes his mind." Peyton urged me to get up. I gathered all my stuff and walked out of the door. When we were finally out, I stopped and stared hard at Peyton.
"Okay how the hell did you do that?" I scowled.
"I told him that you and I would stay after school and help grade papers next week."
"I could have done that! Ugh, he must like you more then me. Well, lets go shall we?" I walked towards the parking lot where Peytons car was and hopped in. He watched me, smiling.
"You know how cute that was?" He asked when he hopped in the drivers seat.
"What was? I just got into the car." I said, laughing.
