The loud laughter and strong curses made me divide my attention towards the enterance of the book shop which has become my regular place from the last week.
The door of the shop swung open, only to welcome the three devilishly handsome boys of my college, well one of them was a walking devil itself.
Their presence brought some unexpected smile on my face.
"Aaah.. Y/N... it's so nice seeing you here.."said Jimin while crushing me in his arms, while Taehyung waited for his chance a step back. Meanwhile Jungkook stood on respectable distance from us watching the scene unfold. I peeked a glance at him from the rim of Jimin's shoulder to only find him rolling his eyes when he caught my eye.
"So what are you all doing here?" I asked as I pulled away from Jimin.
"We are here to check if you are still breathing or decided to give up oxygen for some goodness of our planet." Jungkook snickered from behind making my fingers curl into a fist.
Isn't it too soon to bicker!? But I'm in.
"You swi--!!"I started but was abruptly stopped by Taehyung as he wrapped his hand around my mouth, pulling me to him, my back pressed against his chest.
"Don't-- his grandma might hear you.. you don't want her to look down on you." He said softly but was loud enough for everyone to hear in the room. I wanted to tell him that she isn't present in the shop at the moment.
Jungkook's pressed his mouth in a thin line, his eyes darted for second between Taehyung and me, I followed his line of sight only to notice the closeness between us and I was quick to pull away to maintain a gap, he turned around huffing trying to ignore my presence.
Later after having a chit chat with them and a constant exchange of glares with Jungkook, I continued my work while they kept goofing around.
The entrance door of the shop again swung open to reveal the lady in command her eyes roamed taking in the presence of the boys. I thought she would do something to acknowledge their presence, but ignoring them she directly went inside. Her this gesture left me in surprise and the same surprise was evident on the faces of the three. Our heads turned to look at Jungkook who only shrugged in response.
"Is she high on something?" Taehyung asked lowly to his bunny friend.
But before Jungkook can even answer a voice croaked from inside, " Yahh.. Kim Taehyung I can hear you!!" And we all flinched at her sharp voice.
Damn she got some strong ears.
Jungkook waved his hand in front of us gesturing to relax and quickly motioned his legs to check on his grandmother.
Rest of us waited outside, try to listen any conversation which was taking place inside. First ten minutes went in utter silence, like no was inside. After few some voices were leaked from inside, like someone was whining inside. Jungkook was whining inside, like he was denied some candy. And I bit my tounge in attempt to stop myself from saying something bittersweet about him.
