Belle's POV
"Come on, Ray we have to go!" I yell upstairs to my sister Athena.
"Okay, okay I'm coming I don't see why we have to go anyway, dad's the Beta not us."she whines, as she lugs the suitcase down the steps.
'You and me both sister.' I think to myself. It's ridiculous, we have to go to another pack for 2 weeks just because mom wants us to be ' -together, as a family. If one of us goes we all do.'
"Because we're a family, and families stick together." I respond to Athena, taking the suitcase from her. "And hey, it's only 2 weeks while the packs discuss the rogue problem." I'm not exactly lying to her, but if I complain about it, she will too. Athena's 15, but she still unknowingly copies me just like when we were little.
"Why don't we just talk to them? Like, oh I don't know, normal people?" she asks.
I open my mouth to reply but before I can, my mom calls us.
"Come on, we're almost ready to go girls!" my mom yells at us to hurry up from the car.
"Talk to Dad about that Ray right now we have to go!" I usher Athena out the door and lead her to the car.
"Why do you keep calling me that?" I hear Athena ask as I go around the minivan to put the suitcases in the trunk.
"Do what?" I grunt as I load the last suitcase in the trunk and shut the door.
I come inside and she answers, "Ray, you keep calling me that."
"Oh," I laugh lightly, "Because you're my ray of sunshine. You always brighten up everyone's day; I know I can count on you to make me smile if I'm having a bad day." I look at Athena and smile, and she simply shakes her head and looks out the window.
I sigh inside my head. Even with my family, I have to be perfect. Belle, the straight A student, the nicest girl in school, the best actress in theater. If they only knew, I smile to myself, If they only knew.

Athena's POV (Roughly 6 years in the future)
I watched as a dad picked up his small son and threw him up in the air, the child giggling and squealing and chanting "Again! Again!" as he came back down into his father's arms. When the child was about to be thrown up again, I lifted my camera and caught the perfect moment. Click, I looked at my picture and smiled, it was exactly what I wanted. The boy midair smiling at his dad and the father's outstretched arms ready to catch his son when he falls back down. I put my camera next to me, and started to pull up my hair.
"That picture looks perfect, Athena." my best friend, Onyx said over my shoulder.
"Thanks, I'm working on timing for action photos" was my curt reply, not wanting to say more.
"But the people in the picture are posing? How is that...?" I looked at her questioningly, and glanced back at my camera.
Oh, this picture... I thought to myself. It was of my family and it was almost six years ago, the first picture I had ever taken on that camera, it was my twelfth birthday. We were all smiling, ones that we had because we were simply happy in that moment and we weren't looking at the camera but at each other, my whole family. My mom, dad, brother, sister, and me. I wish things could've stayed like that.
"Yeah, it was..." I whisper so that my voice doesn't crack.
"Oh my Goddess, I'm sorry I didn't mean to-" Onyx started, but I cut her off.
