Chosen checks his phone for the tenth time this hour.

No text.

He's supposed to be meeting Sadie here in half an hour.

She finally shows up, looking very different.

She smiles at him, taking off her sunglasses and waves her new dark, black hair around.

"Hey, Chosen. What's up?" She giggles.

Chosen just stares at her.

He finds himself almost immediately attracted to her.

"Oh, hi, Sadie. How's it goin'?" He asks.

She suddenly turns serious.

"What do you need? I have a photo shoot in less than an hour," She says, checking her watch.

Chosen rolls his eyes.

"I know you didn't write all that shit on the schools website last year." He states.

"Yeah, too right I didn't," She applies another layer of lip gloss.

"Then who did?" Chosen says, surprised.

"Millie, I'm guessing," She sighs, putting her head in her hands.

Chosen sips his smoothie.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?" He asks.

"Because, no one would believe me,"

Chosen meets her eyes.

"But I do," He says, softly.

Sadie smiles, looking down.

"Yeah, you do. Do you still talk to any of the others?" She asks.

"Nah, we all lost touch. Too many hurtful shit in that book. Although, I do forgive Jeremy. He didn't really do anything. Poor guy," He sighs.

Sadie nods.

"Anyway, I'm having a big party next weekend. Saturday. 8PM. Be there, or be square. Bye, babe," She blows him a kiss and runs after a cab.

Chosen sits there in surprise.

"A party," He smirks.

He reaches for his phone and scrolls down in his messages.

The old groupchat "Crackhead kidz" was still there.

Crackhead kidz:

Chosen: none of you leave this goddamn gc i have sum shit i needa say

Wyatt: i also have some stuff i would like to say

Jaeden: hey, me too!

Wyatt: wow, what a coincidence!

Jaeden: haha!

Chosen: yes, yes, love birds but i'm going first ok

Noah: sigh

Millie: hey noah ;)

Chosen: srsly

Finn: whatever chosen just say what you need to say

Chosen: ok so, ik u guys hate sadie but she didn't send those things around

Millie: oh please, what has that bitch said to you?

Caleb: ??

Jeremy: listen to him guys

Chosen: i'm not saying who did it, sadie wants to say that at the party

Jack: so it could be anyone??

Finn: guess so

Jack: don't talk to me

Sophia: i will force you both into a closet if you don't shut the fuck up

Chosen: thank you, sophia. anyways, sadie's having a party on saturday. at 8. be there, or be square.

Jaeden: the memories-

Gaten: gAh

Jack: gtg

Chosen: you guys better come. or else.

Wyatt: i'll be there.

Jaeden: me too, i guess.

Wyatt: :)

Noah: ok ok i think i speak for everyone when i say we're all gonna be there and find out the truth

Everyone: yes.

Chosen: ok good, see you guys then!

Wyatt sighs, opening up Jaeden's new contact.

Wyatt: hey jae. it's been awhile haha, jw if you could come to the party earlier ?? about 7:30 ?? i have some things i wanna talk to you abt

Jaeden: yeah, i'll be there. i also wanna talk to you about sum stuff.

Wyatt: ok, great! i'll see you then!

Jaeden: wait, wy.

Wyatt: yeah?

Jaeden: i love you.

Jaeden has deleted a chat.

Jaeden: bye, can't wait to see u!

Wyatt: same here, bye! :)
