"That's Hajjo, are you sure it's not a moon?" Finn asked, Poe sighed and a dot blinked on my small navigator. Finn was right, the planet was extremely small.
"There's the landing site, and yes...I know it's not a moon" Poe said in a sassy tone, I directed my ship toward the landing site and started to fly toward it, following Poe and Finn toward the surface of the small planet. As we grew closer, I could see movement on the surface. A back and forth motion that looked majestic and horrifying in a way.
"Hajjo is an water planet, the whole thing is about 92% oceans" Poe explained, I stared into the blue voids of water and became amazed by the large waved rolling across the planets.
"It's beautiful" I muttered, truly mesmerized by the never ending waves. But Poe just laughed into the coms, ending my trance.
"Yeah until you see how big those waved are, then you're in for a real surprise" Poe commented. I ignored his snarky remark and followed him toward the blue planet. As we entered the atmosphere, the air became thick and cold, the panels of my ship started to fog over. Luckily there was heat coming off from my ship to counteract the quick fog but it still seemed amazing to me. I looked ahead and saw a large city in the middle of the giant water, I was surprised to see such a modern city in a desolate place.
"How the hell did they get this?" Finn asked.
"What? Oh...It's a big fishing place, the exports are big money out here" Poe explained, "Especially since this place is home to Yonno wax" Poe added. I looked at the city and saw a white and blue themed...everything. A sleek, white landing pad was waiting for us on the very edge of the city, nearly hidden by the tall buildings.
I lowered my ship toward the pad and heard the landing gear hiss as it extended from my aircraft, I pulled the helmet off of my head and lifted the top of the ship. The thick air made my skin feel sticky yet I shivered from the cool wind, I almost choked on the smell of salt in the air.
Two people, a man and woman, helped me leave the ship. They quickly plugged a fuel hose into my ship and started to generously pump fuel. I looked to my left and saw Poe talking to a man, this particular man had blue skin and scales running up and down his entire body.
I jogged over to them and pulls my vest off in the process, my sleeveless shirt doing me no justice in the cold air, the only thing keeping me remotely warm was my dark grey vest, but it wasn't helping much. The man looked at me and extended his hand, nope...fin.
"I'm Dai'We, by the maker, you must be freezing, come come" he offered but I shook my head.
"We're here to get Captain Wef" I said confidently, but Poe shut my confidence down.
"He knows, but Wef doesn't want to speak to anyone right now" Poe said in an obvious annoyed tone. I was shocked to hear that the person we were saving wasn't in a good mood, I turned back to Dai'We and smiled sweetly.
"Do you know when Captain Wef will want to speak to us?" I asked, Poe just rolled his eyes and walked over to Finn to tell him the bad news.
"When she's done eating," Dai'We said happily, my jaw dropped.
Are you kidding me?
"Come, until then I will give you warmer clothes" he offered.
"That won't be necessary" I argued but he shook his head.
"Of course it is, you're my guest. Do not worry, I'll have my wife give you some of her clothes" he said happily, I looked over my shoulder and saw Poe begrudgingly nodding his head. I just gave an awkward smile and followed Dai'We into a large, thin white building.
Inside the air was cool but no longer wet and sticky, the walls and door were solid, shiny white tile that I could see my reflection in. Modern couches and tables floated from the ground as we walked by them, the smell of fish and flowers filled my nose, a strange combination that I truly wished I couldn't smell.
"O'Yey! Come here darling!" Dai'We called, I heard a door open and close quickly, a woman that was also blue and scaled walked toward me, except she was extremely thin and beautiful to look at. She had thin, white hair falling around her face that looked quite unique. She ran up to me and put her hands on my shoulders.
"My god you must be freezing! Come come, I give you better clothes!" She cried, almost mirroring Dai'we's comment. She grabbed my wrist and pulled me down a thin hallway, away from my friends. I turned around just in time to see Poe and Finn walk into the building and sit down on a couch. Are they not worried for me? Whatever.
A door opened and inside was a very clean cut room, white floors and large, round windows that allowed dreary light to pour through. O'Yey started to look through crates of things while I stood awkwardly in the middle of her room.
"I do apologize for the mess" she snapped, rolling her eyes and sighing. I looked around for a mess and I couldn't see a single thing wrong with the room, it looked perfect. She turned toward me and held many pieces of clothing in her hands, each one extremely thick and tiny, meant for her body.
"Do you have anything lighter and...bigger?" I asked, she happily nodded her head and grabbed a crate that was below the rest. She flipped open the lid and inside was white clothes that seemed too clean to even exist.
"Here, take these and go behind there" she demanded, handing me the crate. She pointed to a separator in the room, I smiled awkwardly once again and walked behind the opaque separator. I looked through the crate and decided I could keep my pants and boots on, I just needed longer sleeves.
I grabbed a long sleeved, white shirt from the crate. It was designed to be loose fitting up right under my chest, then it was tighter fitting done to my waist. The sleeves reached my wrists and looped over my middle finger. The fabric was soft yet durable, it was meant for cold weather and granted movement. I pulled my dark grey pants up and wrapped my brown, leather belt around my waist, Luke's saber and Han's blaster still attached to the leather band.
I held my vest in my hands as I walked out from behind the separator, O'Yey gasped and clapped her hands. I didn't think it was that big of a difference but it must be something new to her. "Come, I fix helmet hair!" She cried, I just breathed out a laugh and shook my head.
"That's alright, I'm ok-" I started to say, but her high pitched voice covered mine.
"Please!! I never get to do anyone's hair" she begged. I considered since I was her guest and she seemed a little more desperate then I would think someone would be about hair. I'd let her get it over with. I begrudgingly nodded my head, she clapped her hands again and pointed to a seat in front of her. I sat down and took a deep breath, preparing for her to twist my hair into something new and feared for something drastic.
