Peter POV

I watched in horror as Wolf Spider disappeared from my view swallowed up by the building itself. " Wolf Spider!" I yelled my throat hurting from yelling so loud. I jumped from the top of the building I was perched on. I narrowed my spider lenses trying to find her through the dust and rubble. All of it was starting to level out now so I decided not to fall to my death and webbed onto the side of a building watching the last of the massive building settle. I saw a horribly twisted leg and fear took over my entire being. I couldn't lose my partner. I couldn't lose anyone else. I was the reason I lost Uncle Ben. I'm the reason I'm slowing losing Harry. I'm the one who's pushing Aunt May away for her own safety. Not again. I desperately ran toward the twisted leg shoving the pieces off of her body. I watched as her body became recognizable. I sighed in relief as I put a finger to check her pulse. Faint, quiet but steady and there. That's all I need. All I want nothing less, maybe something more. I turned her over from her back to look at the rest of the damage to her body beside the major cuts and broken bones. I gasped as half of her mask was torn off revealing her identity. "(Y/N)-(Y/N)?" I whispered not even realizing I did at first. "SOMEONE CALL AN AMBULANCE!" I screeched at the crowd as I hunched over her body. I respect and love her enough to keep them away from her when she's this weak. When she's so close to dying. She was getting colder. No, no, no, no, no. Please don't die. "Please don't die on me, please," I whispered over her cold limp being. I checked her pulse. Weaker. "HURRY!" Miles ran up to me out of breath. "I-I saw the new, Pe-Spider-Man we can bring her into Horizon to start healing her." He talked fast me trying to keep up. He was literary Wolf Spider's biggest fan. He knew how I felt about her. I lifted her up as gently as I could glass poking into me from her body as I tried to carry her without worsening any of her injuries. I quickly whispered to Miles. "Her mask got ripped, half of it keep the reporters away. Please Miles." I said my voice breaking. He nodded as he grabbed Gwen and Anya explaining everything to them. "Got it," Gwen said voice stern. She grabbed my arm and led me to a separate room. I took a very quick glance around the bed, counters, and IV bags. This is where Miles takes me after a few really harsh battles when he started becoming a superhero. How did I not realize how dangerous this job really is?!?! "Set her down Spider-Man," Gwen said in a cold voice unfaltering. She was stressed and was panicked. That was this voice and she couldn't help her, me, (Y/N), Miles heck, everyone here has this need to stay strong for each other. She grabbed 2 first aid kit shoving one into my chest. "Start getting the glass and anything out of the visible wounds. Then clean them best you can and bandage them. I'm sure you've done this on yourself based on some of the fights you've had." I carefully moved my fingers getting the bulkier shards of glass and chunks of cement out of the open wounds. Gwen gently pushes near her ribs as (Y/N) groaned. "She more than likely to have broken many ribs. We need a professional Spider-Man." Gwen said. "She's going to die if you don't hurry and get one," Gwen stated, looking me in the eye, spider eye, fracking spider lenses I mean! "GO!" Gwen words and (Y/N)'s words mushed together saying "GO!" (Y/N)'s echoing from when she was telling me to get everyone from the falling building. 'How could I let her go?! She was bound to get hurt killed even and she told me to go. WHY?!'

(Y/N) POV

Cold. Dark. And a very loud ringing...fuckin lonely right now...where's Peter? What happened? All I remember is Aleksei and the little boy falling and then shooting them web parachutes. That's it. Wait no. Then pain. And echoes. And back to fuckin lonely. Light...please I don't wanna die! I still need to confess to Peter! To tell him what I wanted people to tell me when I'm alone but knowing that it's true all the time. How friendly, fair, considerate, strong, leading, honest (mostly), modest, polite, and gentle. To let me tell him how lovely he is...do, do I hear him, Spider-Man anyone? All the voices are fuzzy and mushed together. The ringing in my head didn't help either. Gwen? Anya may be...talking about...heartbeats...mask...ripped. Wait who mask or heart ripped?! What?! I fought to keep awake but my exhausted, worn, and fatigued body couldn't go much longer in its weak state.

Third POV

(Y/N) let out a groan as her body felt sore and dirty. She opened her (E/C) orbs and looked around. Hospital. Her mask, which was on mind you, she noticed had some new stitching on it, as together. 'It was most likely torn and Peter saw who I was...I just don't know what his reaction would be.' (Y/N) thought as she grabbed the edge of the bed heaving herself into a sitting position. She glanced at the window sighing when she realized it was the middle of the night. Stretching her sore muscles and damaged body she pulls the blankets off of her. She grabs the railing of the bed and carefully puts her feet down and tries to stand. Pain fires through her legs her falling and hitting some equipment and panting as she lay on the cool tiles of the hospital. "Ya never know how comfortable a floor can get after a fall...I guess." And that was her last sentence before black specks in the corner of her vision grew as she faded out of consciousness.
