Notes: Reader's Powers; Reader has dark magic powers like shadows forming things or powerful spells (similar to Raven from Teen Titans) and she hides her powers because she can't control it very well and if she completely loses control over her powers she can get possessed by the dark magical powers in a sense what I mean is her inner dark demon and can turn her into a evil and insane person.
Other notes: (Y/N)'s Parents are dead, and she has been in foster care of many people for a few years now, she goes to Midtown (Peter and Harry's old school) and she often gets bullied at school.
You sat on your couch swaddled in blankets concentrating on not letting your powers slip. You closed your eyes and breathed slowly and calmed down a bit. You rubbed your eyes tiredly and unwrapped the blankets that enveloped your body. You walked to the kitchen and got a glass from the cupboard and you rested your head against it, thoughts swirling around your head rapidly. 'Please let tomorrow be a better day. Please, please.' Lifting your head from its place against the cupboard you filled your glass with some tap water and went to the table, sat down, and had some small sips. Once you were finished you grabbed an ice pack from the freezer and held it up against your eye. You went back to the couch and swaddled in some blankets messing around with your shadows a bit and making cute little animals. You stopped when you heard the small pitter-patter of feet and one of the other foster children came down. 'Charlie. Sweet bean.' You thought was you saw the little black-haired boy come up to the couch and make grabby hands. Lifting him up and opening the cavern of blankets you snuggled with the three-year-old boy. "(Y/N)?" He said and looked at you. "Hm?" You hummed in response and looked at him in response. "Can we watch something else?" He said timidly. You were a little disappointed, as you were watching (F/S) (Favorite Show) a but nodded and picked up the remote. "Looney Tunes?" You asked remembering he said he liked to watch Looney Tunes a few days ago. He nodded again and you flipped through the channels before landing on the one with Looney Tunes. Charlie looked at you for a moment with his big green eyes and pointed at the ice pack you were holding against your left eye. "Meanies at school." You said to the little boy and he nodded gave you a hug and turned back to the TV snuggling into your abdomen. Adjusting the ice pack you let your muscles relax a bit and let the background noise of the TV lull you to sleep.

You felt your shoulder as Cassie, a foster girl a year older than you waking you up, "Huh?" You groaned looking at her, "Dinner time." She said rolling her eyes at you as you both headed to the table. Rubbing your eye that wasn't bruised you sat down at your spot at the table, quickly and quietly eating your meal. You felt everyone's eyes stare at your swollen bruised one as your 'mother' spoke, "Honey, can you tell us what happen?" She asked gently, softly putting a hand on your shoulder. You looked up in the middle of chewing, in the middle of dreading tomorrow as you looked into her blue hues with your own (E/C) hues. "Erm- Dodgeball." You said nervously, though the large purple-red bruise was much larger than what bruises you get from dodgeball. You heard your 'mother' let out a soft sigh before showing a small smile to you. You gave a weak one back. Only finishing half of your plate, you got up and scraped the rest into the trash-can before rinsing it and putting it in the dishwasher. Feeling the familiar burn of tears in your eyes you repressed a whimper, and your lip quivered. You started to tremble a bit and your breathing and heart rate increased. You choked a bit finding it hard to breathe slightly as you furiously wiped away tears. 'I hate that I cry so much....it makes me feels so dramatic and weak.' You thought as you forced the tears to stop, the lump in your throat not going away though. You walked through the hallway to your room. You flopped on the bed, the sheets and blankets lifting a bit before settling back down. You turned and laid on your side, curling into the fetal position as you stared at the wall in front of you. Your swollen eye seemed to pulse and the pain was almost numbing in a way. Without knowing it you slowly drifted off to a troubled sleep.
