Third POV.

You gasped and hurriedly put Peter's mask back on. Rushing back to Horizon you finally got control over your powers and made the water to the fountain return as well as place earth chunks back and the wind died down quickly as fire disappeared. Running through the halls you made it to your lab hooking Peter up to some advanced medical that was in your lab, which was there in case a project went wrong in a lab. You waited a couple of minutes, quietly tapping your foot in nervousness. 'This is my fault.' You thought guiltily, 'What have I done?' You sat down in a chair running a hand through your (H/L) (H/C) hair, a nervous habit. You buried your head in your hands, quietly breaking down as you clamped your hands over your mouth to muffle the noises. Images of Peter, with painful and gruesome injuries, entered your mind, 'What could have happened to him if he didn't calm me down?' You thought the tears escaping your eyes, despite your best efforts, blurring your vision. Your exhausted body was swaying in and out of consciousness as you began to have a painful headache. 'Breathe. Breathe. Breathe.' You calmed down a bit and started to peel off part of Peter's suit to bandage some wounds. You tried to avert your eyes at his toned chest and felt a blush creep up your neck to your face and spreading to your ears. You started to clean pouring the alcohol peroxide and you heard a barely audible groan. You stopped for a moment and then continued. Once you were all done cleaning you wrapped them up and left Peter be as you worried for him spinning in your chair the room whizzing by as you did breathing exercises with yourself. You felt your phone buzz in your pocket and read the contact who was calling you. 'Katniss Everdeen' You picked it up and heard the fatherly voice of Clint or better known as Hawkeye through the receiver. "Hey kid, we saw what happened on the news you okay?!" You sighed and answered softly, "I really don't know Clint, and I'm assuming you're on speaker with the rest of the crew?" Clint also toned down a bit before answering, "Yeah, hey guys you can ask her questions now!" He hollered covering the phone with his hand, but you still heard it a bit muffled though, "Kid! Why didn't you tell me anything!" You heard Tony's voice first as you heard scrambling of feet too. "Because I'm stubborn...?" You answered partly questioning yourself. You heard everyone chuckle slightly. "Anyway, I have to go...." You trailed off looking at the shirtless Peter and your blush grew. "Hm, why?" Clint asked a smug tone in his voice. You felt your body heat up, and you steadied your voice before answering, "I got to clean up the mess I made of the city and help heal those who got hurt." Natasha spoke up, "You sure that's all, you haven't talked to us in a while and usually you're eager to talk to us when both the team and you have time." You mentally slapped yourself thinking none of them would notice anything odd about you. "Yeah, I'm real worried about you (Y/N) you can't just give me a heart attack, I'm old," Steve said chuckling at the end and making you smile and giggle. "Heh you give me more credit on that than I deserve, after all, Tony the one who blows up the lab, and Bruce running around nervous about it, and then he's too nervous to stop Tony. Hearing random explosions in the night really gives you a heart attack." You grinned hearing laughter and Tony's 'offended' tone, "Hey! You can't say that about me! I'm your father-like figure!" You laughed and leaned back in your chair watching Peter peacefully sleep, as Bruce timidly answered, "Hey! I'm not that nervous..." You grinned, "I know, I'm just dramatic and I like to exaggerate stuff." You all laughed lightly and you heard Clint's voice again, "Well kid we'll let you go." You lightly smiled and pressed the red button on phone and slumped in your chair, "What to do, what to do..." You muttered and buried your head in your hands. Gripping your hair harshly. You slumped against your desk your (H/L) hair fell in your face your head resting on top of arms as your eyes struggled to keep the ability to be open. Black spots were around your vision from exhaustion, emotional, and physical as your tired eyes slowly dropped closed despite your will to try and keep them open.
