(Y/N)'s POV

My eyes snapped open as my breathing came out ragged my eyes scanning my room and lighting my hand on fire to get some light. Rubbing my eyes I took some breaths putting a hand to feel my steady heartbeat. "You're okay, you're fine, you can call them anytime." You mumbled to yourself. Making the fire on your hand go away you picked up your phone from the side table and pressed the home button to check the time. Squinting at the harsh light and letting your eyes adjust you saw the time. '5:32' Seeing as you weren't going to fall asleep again you opened your phone and called a contact labeled 'Mark One'. As you heard the dial a few time you heard a scruffy voice pick up the phone. "Kid? What in the name of damn heck do you need to call me at 5:32 when I'm making coffee?" You snorted but sighed, "Kid you okay?" Tony asked softly hearing your sigh and how you didn't say anything. "I-It's just, um er well the nightmares, they're back. H-Hydra they were coming to g-get me and...they...they made..do experiments...on e-everyone...then they made me kill y-...please Tony. Come...save...save me."

Third POV

Tony heard the sniffles from the other end of the line and rubbed his temples worriedly. "Kid, listen to me, you're strong you're here you have friends, Gwen and Anya, right? Look I'm not gonna sugar coat it, life's tough but you've made it this far." The tenderness in Tony's voice was rare as he heard your sniffles die down. After of few minutes of talking to you, Tony was about to hang up as he still had work to do, but Steve came in the kitchen seeing Tony with a cup of coffee and his phone shining on his face as he clicked the red button to end the call. "Who was that?" Steve asked curiously as he opened the fridge and grabbed the jug of milk. Tony didn't answer right away but stayed silent, using his coffee as an excuse to not speak. During that time, Steve had made his cup of milk and took a sip as Tony said your name, "(Y/N)." Steve choked on his milk coughing and sputtering as he regained his ability to breathe. "H-How she doing?" Tony pondered, I mean he couldn't really tell. "I'm not sure but, I think she's doing a bit better, she is calling us less often after all. But overall, right now," He took a breath, "I don't think she's doing too well."

(Y/N) POV

You walked in the doors of Horizon with Anya just talking about a coding project on Python that you had to do by tomorrow. "Are you done?" You shook your head, "Almost I also have a project for Doctor Octavius's class I need to finish, but that one might take a few days. Anya nodded as you two split up heading to your labs before class started. Walking in you organized a few things and got your flash drive for coding class. Walking in the classroom and sitting down the teacher starting a lesson. You simultaneously taking notes while dozing off a bit at the teacher's lecture. After the lecture, you worked on your Python project and finished. "Phew, what a lot of work." You muttered sighing. A small flame lit on your palm out of nowhere and you quickly put it out with water. Now that you were done with your project, as most everyone else the teacher started another lecture. You now sat in class bored staring out the window, your hand-copying what the teacher was saying. The teacher ending his lecture and the end of class were nearing with 2 minutes to lose. Now, I'll let you have a bit of free time, but I recommend you read a book, at this point I don't care, from your textbooks to Greek Mythology like hydra."  Your hands tremble at the words and your breathing speeds up a bit as you peel your eyes from the window. Memories flood your mind overriding your senses as you scratch your arms desperately trying to get a hold of reality. Knives. Blood. Book. Killing. Scientists. Experiments. Monster. Your nails pierced your skin as blood drew the droplets getting you back to reality but only for a moment. Quickly retracting your hand as you see more droplets of blood dripping onto your clothes. Your breathing halts. The bodies. The blood. Too much death. And you're the cause. Stiffly standing up and dashing out the door with immense amounts of speed you run out the door of Horizon the bell going off and ringing painfully in your ears. Horrid memories pushing their way up from the depths of your mind. A scream broke through your throat as you clutched your head the physical, mental, and emotional pain too much to handle. You felt your skin burn uncomfortable hot seeing the dancing flames slightly blur your vision with its haze because of its immense heat. Your tears escaped your eyes dripping onto the ground staining it. Due to your control of your powers at the moment or more of the lack of it the tears rose from the ground swirling in the air before more water from a nearby fountain started to form the air getting denser thick with water making it hard to breathe. The flames on your body spread and cracks formed in the ground opening up and chunks of the ground whizzing past people, hitting them in the process getting closer to you and swirling rapidly around you. Your breathing was haphazard and your shaky breaths let out a strong gust of wind, the wind swirling pacing keeping the chunks of the earth in the air blowing people away from you. Your nails clawed at your skin more blood drawing and in a panic, you ripped part of your sleeve off to stop the bleeding revealing scars. Screams shook your entire body as you fell crouching, screaming, and crying.
