Jolt looked at Sparky, her loving expression making his heart want to burst. She leaned forward, nuzzling his spikey neck fur as he held her in his warm embrace. She wished this moment would last forever. He gently put a paw under her chin, and lifted it up to face him. "I know I haven't told you this in a long time, but... I..." Jolt looked away for a moment, then turned back and locked eyes with her. His face was crimson from his spreading blush, but he was going to say it: there was no going back now. "I want you to know... I... I-I love you, Sparky..." There. He had finally said it, and meant every word of it. Sparky felt her pulse rate double as she looked up at him. She broke eye contact only for a moment, looking down and smiling before locking eyes with him. "You don't know how long I've waited to hear you say that again, Jolt... I love you too... so much..." His expression changed to pure joy as he tightly embraced her, communicating his feelings through the hug. It was just him and her. No one else. "I love you, Sparky..." he repeated softly in her ear. "You, and no one else..." The moment was perfect, absolutely perfect, and Sparky doubted she had ever been happier than sitting there with her true love.
