"What did you just say?" Wanda gasped out, feeling her world collapse around her. The Light just laughed in response, making fury surge through Wanda. She slammed her fists into the ground, a burst of psionic energy blasting out and knocking everyone back a good ten feet. She snarled, lifting her head to glare at the Light. She stood up, her chest heaving with labored breathing. "You killed my brother and have the audacity to laugh in my face?"

Uh oh, I don't have a good feeling about this...

Me neither, stay close.

Queen Bee smirked, a small chuckle escaping her lips. "He was never real."

Wanda screamed, lifting her hands and aiming them at the Light. She easily encased them all in a scarlet mist, eyes glowing a haunting scarlet. "He was real to me." Wanda smirked at the shocked looks on the Light's faces. "You may be a Queen, but right now you're my bitch."

The Light looked genuinely terrified, staring at Wanda with wide eyes. The team noticed the look in Wanda's scarlet hued eyes and started to approach her cautiously. "Wanda-"

Wanda growled, flinging a hand back and creating a psionic force field to hold the team at bay. "No! They deserve to die."

The team gulped, exchanging a look as Wanda lifted the hand aimed at the Light and jerked her wrist, causing the Light to gasp, eyes bugging out as their airways were being telekinetically restricted. Zatanna tried to break through the force field to no avail. "Wanda, please. You don't have to do this. You don't have to be the monster they want you to be."

Wanda sneered, looking over her shoulder. "I have always been the monster they want me to be, can't you see that? I led a fifteen year old to his supposed death, I exposed your identities, I even faked killing you. All because of them." Wanda spat with venom in her voice, turning her glare back on the Light. "The ones who kidnapped me, tortured me, experimented on me, extorted me, and killed my brother! They messed with my head one too many times, its time for them to pay."

Wanda jerked her hand again and the Light silently gasped, clawing at their throats. She grit her teeth, strengthening her telekinetic grip on their throats.

"Wanda, if you cross this line there is no going back." Dick tried to reason with her, making Wanda scoff.

"I am well past the point of return."

The team turned to M'gann, desperate looks on their faces. "Miss M, she won't listen to reason. You gotta shut her down."

"I'll try." M'gann's eyes glowed as she fought to enter Wanda's mind, groaning when she found a surprising amount of resistance. She was shocked, figuring since Wanda was focused on both the force field and choking the Light that she wouldn't have any energy left to defend her mind. M'gann hissed. "I...I can't! She's too strong."

"Wanda, please! Don't do this." Zatanna tried pleading once more, calling spell after spell to lower the force field, none of them working.

M'gann thought of  a trick that turned her stomach, knowing it was their only hope of stopping Wanda. She narrowed her eyes, reaching out to Psimon.

Psimon, if you want to live, we have to work together to shut Wanda down.

Psimon nodded, combining his telepathic powers with M'gann's. Wanda stumbled a bit under the pressure of having two powerful psychics beating on her defenses as well as Zatanna throwing spells at her force field.

She steeled herself, crying out as she put forth more power than she ever had in her entire life. If she could handle the shock collar, she can handle this.

M'gann and Psimon doubled down on their efforts to stop Wanda, making the teen wobble slightly as her energy was running out. M'gann smirked when she felt Wanda's defenses weakening, eyes glowing brighter as she pushed harder than ever.

Wanda fell to her knees, the pressure getting to her. She knew she was going to lose but there was one thing left she had to do. Wanda grunted as she entered the Light's minds, wiping them clean of any and all information on the team that she had given them. In doing so she knocked Psimon out, moments before she collapsed on the ground, her force field falling as her eyes rolled back in her head.

"Wanda!" Zatanna cried out, by her side in an instant. She checked her over for a pulse, breathing a sigh of relief when she found one. She looked up to see the team doing the same for the Light, confirming that Wanda had not killed them.

"Let's alert the League..." Kaldur spoke softly, looking down at Zatanna and Wanda with pity. "Let them know what has transpired here."

Everyone nodded numbly, M'gann calling the bioship over so they could load Wanda up and secure her, albeit with enormous guilt. They all gave Wanda a lingering glance before taking their seats, starting on their way back to the Mountain.

A transmission beeped through and they answered, relieved to see Black Canary and Batman. Black Canary had a look of pity on her face when she saw Wanda. "What happened?"

"Well, you see..." Artemis launched into the explanation, wrapping up to notice the not surprised looks on the two Justice Leaguer's faces. "And why do you not seem shocked by any of this?"

Batman grunted. "We've had our suspicions about Wanda since the beginning, but we wanted to give her a chance to turn things around. We had a feeling a breakdown like this would happen when we discovered the truth about her 'brother', especially considering all her motivations were about him. Bring her back to the mountain, we will handle her."

"Wait, you knew Wanda was a mole from the beginning? How?" Jason demanded.

"She was conveniently placed in the nearest Cadmus center right before your mission there, there has never been any trace of Pietro, she acted too shady, and we had Martian Manhunter read her mind while she was still unconscious."

"Wha - bu - huh?! Why didn't any of you think about letting us know about this?" Wally sputtered.

"We wanted to see how this would play out, see if any of you would figure it out. Plus, we wanted a chance for Wanda to break free on her own." Black Canary returned her gaze to the unconscious teen. "We were so rooting for her too..."

"We will be at the mountain when you arrive to process Wanda." Batman hung up the transmission and the team fell silent.

There was nothing left to say.
