"All of them most likely," Emerson sighs.

"Is Sebastian here or is it just you?" Amber asks, she knew Sebastian was the one who always brought him.

"Yeah he's here as well, he should be signing Remington in." Emerson says sitting in the seat next to his hospital bed. She nods reading Emerson's face. He seemed scared and worried.

"Hey, I know everything seems stressful. Your brother is going to be fine, we know what to do." She says looking closer at Emerson, "You don't look so good yourself, when was the last time you had an actual meal?"

Emerson froze, thinking about the question. He didn't know for sure when. He was thinking maybe two days ago when he had dinner. The only thing he's done at Remingtons is have small snacks. They never satisfied him. He sighs a lie was ready to be said, but he knew he wouldn't want anyone lying to him either. Yet that hasn't stopped him before.

"It's been a couple of days..." Emerson admits.

He didn't know her at all, why should he be honest. He didn't know if it was the tiredness talking or if he genuinely wanted to be honest to her. Amber looks at Emerson and says one thing.

"Sebastian said you'd freak out if you knew what has been going on with Remington. You seem to be taking it well."

"Today's been stressful," Emerson sighs looking back at Remington who still hadn't woken up, "I didn't think it'd be possible to make things worse than they were."

"I guess it was possible," She looks at Remington then back at Emerson, "I'll be back in a moment stay here in case he wakes up. He hates waking up alone. Do you want anything to eat I'm going there anyway?"

Emerson shakes his head, "I'll be fine." He sighs.

The door opens and Sebastian comes in, he looked at Emerson then to Remington. When Emerson noticed Sebastian seemed out of breath he got worried. Emerson sighs. Amber didn't leave the room but instead looked at Sebastian asking telling him something Emerson couldn't hear. He knows it's about him when Sebastian glanced his away. She nods and leaves the room.

"So, you haven't been eating?"

"Damn it..." Emerson mumbles knowing she would mention it, "I guess I just forgot. It's been stressful." Emerson says this next part clearer.

"I can't believe you," Sebastian laughs sitting in the seat next to Emerson, "You even refused to eat just now, I know you have to be hungry Em."

"I'm sorry." Emerson sighs tears clouding his vision.

"It's okay," Sebastian says his voice much more serious. He sighs wrapping his arm around Emerson, "but, you know this is why Remington ends up here half the time. He doesn't eat for a few days, and his body doesn't take it well. I don't want the same to happen to you, I care about you."

"Is he going to be okay?" Emerson asks the first few tears traveling down his face.

Sebastian cups Emerson's face, he wiped Emersons tears with his thumbs, "Emerson, you gotta believe me, alright. He's going to be okay."

Sebastian pulls his hands away from Emersons face. Emerson nods closing his eyes. He didn't want to face the reality in front of him. It didn't feel right, this wasn't what was supposed to happen. He wasn't supposed to be in this hospital room questioning if his brother would be okay. They were supposed to be at Remingtons house laughing about some inside joke they had made ages ago.

Emerson sighs drying his eyes with his sleeve, "he's going to be okay..." He seemed to want to convince himself that, he didn't know how though.

The door to the room opens and Amber comes in setting a tray on Emerson's lap, "You're gonna eat, I know you might not want to but you have to..."

"Thank you." Emerson mumbles looking at the food before him. She grabbed a lot for him and he knew he would be guilty throwing any of it out. He didn't feel hungry to say the least.

His body begged for him to eat but his mind didn't know how. With the events of the day he was too stressed to even think about eating and now he felt like he had to. He took a bite out of the mashed potatoes, he was tempted to throw it away but he had two sets of eyes on him. Emerson took another bite, accepting that he would have to at least finish half of this food. But how, he didn't even feel hungry. Sebastian watched Emerson closely he was confused why Emerson wouldn't eat. Whether it was because of stress or if he really didn't want to Sebastian knows he should.

"I know everything is stressful, but at least try, Em." Sebastian says, "it's going to be okay."

"Why can't things just go back to how they were?" Emerson asks tears coming to his eyes again, "You can't tell me it'll be okay when things aren't. They won't be for a while. It's hard being scared 24/7, and now it's just worse."

"Don't cry Em. We're going to figure everything out," Sebastian says.

Emerson sets the food off to the side on a little table next to his chair. Sebastian gets up and crouches down in front of Emerson moving a strand of hair out of Emerson's face, "I promise you we'll get through this, he'll get through this. You just have to trust me."

Emerson nods and Sebastian pulls him into a tight hug. They both need it. With all the stress it was obvious that they did. Emerson feels super tired and stressed yet he couldn't sleep and didn't want to eat what laid next to him. Emerson rests his head on Sebastians shoulder, silent tears running down his face.

"Wh-Where am I?!"

Emerson's eyes widened when Remington spoke. His head turns quickly finding the source of the question. Remington was sitting up rubbing his temple with his hand. He looked sick still, better than before since he was being tube fed for a while. Sebastian sighs glancing at Remington with a serious look.

"Am I in the hospital?" Remington asks.

"You're glad he asked me to come over," Sebastian sighs, "you worried the shit out of us, Rem. Please just try taking care of yourself."

"I'm sorry, I know I need to get better but my old habits always catch up..."
