"Hey. Hey. Hey! Pretty boy, wake the fuck up!"
I felt pain in my right cheek and slowly opened my eyes. I didn't know where I was or what happened, but I know for a fact that I wasn't at home.
"W-what happened?" I asked, holding my cheek and looking around.
"I dunno. I just found here lying here like an idiot." I looked up and saw a boy with purple tinted hair staring angrily at me.
I gluped, "D-Did I do something wrong?"
"No..." The boy said and picked me up to swing me over his shoulder. "Not yet..."
"Where are we going?"
"Back to where I was, originally. I wandered off by myself and found you. So you're my property now, alright?"
I thought a bit before speaking. I don't really understand how I ended up lying on the ground without any back story adding up to it. That doesn't make any sense...
"Hey, did you hear me?"
"S-sorry. Yes, I understand."
"Oh. And this your chain thingy." The boy said and threw a chained weapon over my head.
I picked it up and waved it in the air a bit to see it better, but the thing began to glow brightly, and within seconds I was begin lifted off of the boy's shoulder and floating into the air.
"Um..., h-hey-"
"Add."
"A-add... Can you bring me back down?" I asked, nervous of what he'll do.
Though I just met him, this guy scares me a lot.
"How did you even get up there?" Add asked and raised a hand for me to grab, but I couldn't reach it.
"I-I don't know..." I said and began wiggling in the air. "It was this. It started glowing."
"Well put it away and see if you'll fall. I'll catch you." He said, holding his arms out under me.
I decided not to ask how and figure it out myself. I looked at the chain, then back the white robe/hoodie I was wearing. There weren't any pockets, but there was a belt.
"Any day now."
I decided to just hold the chain lower to see if I'd fall, and I did. I held the chain to the ground below me, and I began to slowly fall.
"Woah. How did you do that?" Add asked and walked up to me.
"I don't know..." I held the chain to my face to get a closer look, and on the back read ልጎክርዘልነቿ ጎነዘጠልቿረ.
"Dude, what the fuck? Can you read that?"
"A-Ainchase Ishmael."
"Wow, you can read chicken scratch. I hit jackpot." Add said and pat my head.
"It's not chicken scratch, " I said and looked down at the chain again, "It must be my language. Or a code."
"Whatever. Let's go, Pretty Boy." Add grabbed my hand and began to lead me into a village not too far from where we were now.
But then something hit me, "Why do you keep calling me 'Pretty Boy'?"
"Because you're a pretty boy. Now come on before I punish you."
"P-Punish me?"
"Never mind..."
Okay, now I'm really scared of this guy.
Add kept pulling me towards the village. I didn't really recognize anything, so I was stuck in thought as Add lead me on.
"Stay here." He said and began to walk off into an alley I found intriguing.
But I sure didn't want to be left alone, "H-Hey, where are you-" He was already gone.
