Merry Christmas

As the Rooster hour (5:00 - 7:00pm) began, the winter palace became an enchanting place.

Colorful lanterns and bells decorated the whole place. Snow began to sway and descend on the earth.

A magnificent tree stood in the centre of the palace and it was enriched with ribbons and little dolls hung on it.

A bright golden star was placed at the tip of the tree, the whole place seemed to have a powerful aura.

Crowds of ministers and people gathered in the winter palace. They all were captivated by this alluring sight.

The Emperor and Empress, graced the palace with their presence. Everyone gave their deepest bow with a, “Long live your majesties!!”

"Rise." Ordered the Emperor and held his Empress's hand and walked under the tree.

The Empress felt her eyes growing moist and she hugged the Emperor tightly repeatedly said, "Thank you. I'm happy. Very happy."

The Emperor consoled her and gently put his hands behind her neck, to tie a necklace.

It was a simple one, and it wasn't a normal necklace. It was a heart shaped locket, a new design from the West.

The Empress wiped away her tears and touched the locket. She pressed a button and it opened.

Inside, she found miniature portraits of her and the Emperor. It showed how great care and attention he put through his gift.

The Empress smiled as she clutched her pendant. Then, under the light of the golden star, threw her arms around him and kissed his cheek.

The people were all happy looking at them and decided to leave them both alone for awhile.

Then, another carriage came galloping. From it, the great generals, wearing matching clothes and having a mysterious aura upon them walked in.

The common people bowed to greet them and Chen le gave a smile to them, as he ordered "rise."

They too went in and were actually entrapped by the lovely view of the tree.

Chen Le presented a heroic legendary sword to his wife. Su JianAn was pleased by it.

"Oh dear! I love you very much. Muah~" kissed Su JianAn.

After all the showers of love, Chen le asked for his gift.

"Mmm.. Gift? Don't you think, this wonderful wife of yours is the loveliest gift you could ever have..?" She smiled mischievously.

Chen Le laughed and he tickled her.

The people, once again decided to give some space to them and they felt their heart to have warmed up.

Another carriage made it's way and from it decended the most beautiful couple they had ever seen in their life.

It was the crown prince and princess.

The prince got down from the carriage and lent support to his wife who looked just like a fairy.

The prince was particularly handsome in his golden–red dragon embroidered robe.

The princess wore a lovely Phoenix embroidered golden dress, that carried an ethreal beauty as the breeze swayed her.

The people bowed and greeted them. The prince ordered them to "Rise" and everyone were enthralled by the lovely couple.

They proceeded inside, and Yue couldn't believe here eyes when she saw all the decorations and the big tree.
