In the morning when the sun was just about to rise near the Rabbit hour (5:00-7:00 am) Ying Yue got up and did her regular routine and was chatting with maid li.
At this time an enunch arrives into the courtyard and knocks the door.
Maid li welcomes him and the enunch announces that the crown prince wants Ying Yue to visit his study room.
Ying Yue nods her head and accompanies the enunch who was waiting.
Every time she took a step forward she was beginning to get anxious.. her heart started to beat fastly.
Time seemed to pass quickly as she found herself again before a big door with carvings of a silver dragon..
The enunch then announced her entry.
She slowly walked inside the room with small steps trying not to make any noise.
When she looked up she saw him staring at her amusingly. He was wearing a silver robe and he was sitting on the chair very elegantly.

She gets even more anxious enough that she can pass out at any moment. She didn't know what to do and froze into a statue.
She couldn't even take a step forward and she looked really funny.
Chenshang looked at her who seemed to be struggling to move out of that place..
So he called out "can you please come a little closer?" In a calm but caring tone.
Life seemed to returned to her again as she began to walk forward really slowly as if there was something pulling her up from walking any further..
When she finally achieved her destination and stood before the prince she looked at him in the eyes.
He motioned her to sit in a chair near him.
She did as he said so and waited.. for what? She didn't know..
He supports his face with a hand as he continued to stare at her face.. and when he finally felt it was enough..
He asked her "can you grind some ink for me? I have to complete this scroll here." In a cool tone.
She looked back at him with a confused face and her head slightly tilted to the side showing that.. she doesn't have a clue on what he is talking about.
"So.. you don't know how to do it?" He asked politely.
She nodded her head repeatedly and it seems that her words got struck inside her throat and can't cone out.
He gives her a small smile combined with a sigh and gets up from his chair and walks close to her.
She was immidiately overcome with a fresh cool but manly scent.
He softly lays his hand on top of her's which were a lot larger compared to her smol hands.
"I will teach you.. but you better learn it quickly. You have to do it in the future often for me.." he said with a smirk playing on his lips.
She once again nods her head cutely and he guides her step by step.
When the ink was finally ready Ying Yue got a whisp of it and said..
"Can I try it by myself this time?" One can literally see her eyes sparkling. And.. it was quite hard to turn down her request.
"Oh. Sure.. go ahead." He said and took his hand hesitantly. Why did he somehow feel a sense of loss?
She then began to work really hard on it and the ink's consistency improved drastically.

Chenshang was a little proud and he rubbed her fluffy hair softly.
"Good job" he praised.
Then he suddenly remembered of something so..
"Do you remember, we will be getting married in four days..?" He asked her.
"mmm.. I'm waiting for that day." She replied and then hastily covered her mouth.
'How could she say it out aloud? And more over to the crown prince directly..' she was literally screaming on the inside.
"Pfft. You really are cute." He said as he leaned in and pinched her bubbly cheeks.
She didn't know what to do and can only hold onto her cheeks and cover her face after he pinched all he wanted to.
'Wuwu.. I'm feeling embarrassed right now..' she thought inside her head as she blushed.
After he completed the scroll he presented it to Ying Yue.
He whispered that it was the surprise he said earlier.. so she opened it slowly..
Inside was a poem. It read..
I want to be your love for ever and ever, Without break or decay. When the hills are all flat, The rivers are all dry. When it thunders in winter, When it snows in summer When heaven and earth mingle, Not till then will I part from you.
After she read it, she felt sudden happiness bursting inside her.
chenshang then escorted her back to her courtyard personally and waves her good bye. And she waves back at him too.
While returning he was so happy that he got to hold her and eat some tofu.. that he didn't even want to wash his hands again..
And he was holding his hands carefully like it was something really precious and someone would steal it from him.
Meanwhile Ying Yue once again looked at the scroll that he had gifted her and traced the words using her fingers admiringly at his calligraphy.
She wanted to hug the scroll to sleep but.. she was scared that it would be torn or crushed.. so she just stared at it longingly and kept it safe in a box.
She went towards the blue bird whom she named as Tang which means sugar in Chinese.
The blue bird has a strong liking to suga and so comes the name..
She fed some grains to it.. and it began to chirp for her.
Somehow she felt familiarity with the bird as she has an inkling to the song it was singing.
And so, she took out her flute and began playing it to synchronize with Tang.
They created a truly beautiful melody together as the whole palace was lulled to Peacefulness.
