When everyone was busy in the winter palace, Li Hua had quietly stayed back.
She had an hobby that she had never before shared with anyone.
She had a kit with her that had all the tools and supplies she needed.
Li hua, expertised in creating miniature mannequin dolls, whom she created with exquisite love and care.
She first carves her doll, assemble all the parts together, take their measurements, stitch a lovely dress, style the hair, and at last paint the features and put them all together.
[Li Hua painting her doll]
She has been working on this particular doll for almost five months.
She finally found time to complete her piece, amd gave the finishing touch to her doll and put down her brush.
She admired her doll for awhile and began to pack her kit when she found someone was sitting opposite to her, with a hand supporting his cheek.
"Q–qin Yu?"she asked doubtedly.
"I'm glad you still remembered my name, Hua." He said.
Li Hua blushed and Qin Yu pointed to the doll.
"It's wonderful. I didn't know you had such a great talent." He said softly.
"T–thank you." She replied and a tiny of pink covered her face.
"Oh, it's already past noon and I assume you haven't eaten anything yet." He said.
"Ah..?! Past noon? It's so late. There may not even be sufficient food left to eat now." She spoke downcasted.
"If you don't mind.. I cooked some lunch for you. Do you want to eat with me...?" He invited her.
"You can cook? I would like to taste some. Can I..?" She requested with adorable puppy eyes.
"Of course." He answered and he felt a bit flustered.
Qin Yu began to assemble the dishes on the table and they both began eating.
"So delicious!" Squealed Hua with delight.
"Really..?" He questioned as he looked at her devouring the dishes.
"Really. I've never eaten anything so delicious ever in my life. How I wish I could eat these forever." She even voiced out her thoughts.
The shadow guard, Qin Yu's eyebrow raised a bit as he looked at her once again.
"If.. if you want— I'm willing to cook for you and only you, till death do us apart." He swore.
Li Hua paused for awhile and kept down her chopsticks. She wondered, 'was he confessing to me..?!?!'
"Mmm.." she silently nodded her head and agreed to his words.
Qin Yu felt so happy that he couldn't stop smiling.
They both had hues of red spread over their faces as they both looked at each other and smiled warmly.
...
The next day, everyone was bored so Si Ming made an idea and had everyone assemble in the buttercup pavilion.
Everyone including the princes and members of the royal family, assembled together.
Si Ming pleaded with Yue and she finally agreed to perform a piece called, “Autumn breeze” together.
Yue took her Jade flute and Ah-ming bought her Gu Zheng.
They went to the pavilion and greeted everyone before beginning to play their duet piece.
The “Autumn breeze”, is a song of longing to express the love, burried deep inside.
It has a melancholic melody that makes everyone to go back to their younger days, when all they yearned for, is love.
The audience were so moved and closed to tears as the melody touched their heart when, the doors suddenly bust open, and the music came to a stand still.
A man, clothed in blue–white robes, stood at the doorway.
[The Third prince, Shen.]
Even the birds happily chirped around him to welcome him.
Yue wondered who this strange man was when she saw the Empress to have got down from her seat and rushed forward to hug him.
The crown prince as well as the second prince went to greet him and they both hugged their beloved brother.
The Empress wiped her tears of joy of seeing her youngest son after three years.
"Shen, how are doing? You seemed to have lost a lot of weight. Are you not taking care of yourself?! How many times I've told you to eat properly!"
The Empress scolded him lightly and embraced him. Both of his brothers came and ruffled his head.
"Woah, Shen. You've grown so tall. So tall from our Lee Shan. Haha." Chen Shang laughed.
Lee Shan ignored him and asked how Shen was doing. They all began to chat happily.
Si Ming invited him inside and he greeted her and the his imperial father.
Looking at Yue's confused expression, Si Ming let her know that it was the third prince, who had returned from the northern borders.
That made a light glow on Yue. She remembered that, once Hua had mentioned about the third prince to her.
She stood up to greet him only to have a questioning gaze upon her.
"Third brother, this is Ying Yue, our Chen Shang's wife." Said Lee Shan.
"Wife..? When did our big brother get married?" Said Shen in his cold voice.
"Just a few days ago." Replied the Empress, as she poured him a cup of tea.
"That music just now. Did you play it..?" Shen asked sipping his tea and a little shine on his eyes.
"Ah? Yes, me and Ah-ming played it together." She responded.
"It was good." The third prince said as his gaze rested upon his brothers.
His eyes grew dim as he looked at the current Emperor and at the problem he was constantly facing.
'There, is no other way. I must seek help from my brothers. Otherwise, I'm scared what might happen to our empire.' He thought as a gloomy aura enveloped him.
Everyone could feel the chilling vibe all around and they began to expect that a very troublesome issue to be dealt with, is waiting for them.
