winners:

in first place is unexpected by lillymhenderson with a score of 53/60!

review:

I absolutely enjoyed this book. Very nicely written and really involves you the story. There were no mistakes grammar wise that I spotted. The characters grew as the book went on and I loved the little twists. All in all this has to be one of my favourite books. ~ Alphafyers

in second place is all the things we lost by originalverbivore with a score of 49.5/60!

review:

first off, i love the cover! it's simple, but it's cute and draws in readers.

the plot develops a little slowly in the beginning, but you do a very good job at describing river's emotions and giving a backstory to emily without it sounding like you're simply shoving a bunch to facts at the reader. i've read more than one of your stories, and i think you always find a nice way to build upon a base idea, so the ideas don't flow to fast or jump to awkward places.

your words go nicely together, but make sure you take some time to make your writing more concise. you put in some extra phrases that work, but don't really add to the story. also, you do have a few run-on sentences where you simply use a comma to act as period, however, that can be solved by reading things allowed.

grammar wise, it's pretty good. there are a few missing punctuations and spelling errors, but again, editing can solve that easily.

other than that, i really loved the story and i'll be finishing it soon! :) ~Jells_

in third place is lovely little lies by ccallis0246 with a score of 49/60!

review:

"Lovely Little Lies" is a very, very intriguing and eye-catching book. Thought the cover isn't very eye-catching, the story itself is fascinating. The prologue was absolutely attention-grabbing, and I wanted to continue reading ASAP to figure out what happened to Daniel, and why. This was one of my favorite books so far to read out of all of them. The author wrote about the main character's mother in great detail that gave me a visionary of what she may look like and gave us details about her that also helped create an image, and I love that. There were little to no grammar errors, and the author used more creative words to describe things other than saying "she raced into the room",  they said, "she raced into the frigid room". I love this book, and I honestly may continue reading it after this contest is over. ~ thevwilliams

congrats to all the winners! the rest of the reviews will be posted in a separate book. :)
