in first place is shmitten by shadesofblue with a score of 61/70!

review:

I truly enjoyed your poetry book! The title wasn't too impressive, nor was your cover, so between the two of them, those were the lowest of your scores. You can always ask someone in the forums to make a beautiful cover for you, but, if this is what you were going for, that's fine too. As a reader, it wouldn't have caught my eye. Your summary is near perfection! You seem to know exactly what constitutes a perfect blurb. Your grammar and spelling had no noticeable mistakes that would have distracted from the reading. Your diction was stellar. Your clarity was good, I didn't have to re-read anything. Your depth and figure were also very well done.

The only negative I could find was that your cover was not grabbing, and the title was odd in my eyes.

Well done! ~ JessicaGoyette

in second place is mirth and melancholy by denim_days with a score of 57/70!

review:

I was originally not able to find your poem, but I am glad the awards host was able to locate it! It is very well written. Your title is beautiful! Your cover does not grab me at all, it is your lowest mark. Try asking around in the forums for a graphic designer. Your second-lowest mark was your summary. It really says nothing that would compel me to read your book. Give it a little extra thought and you have a winning book. In fact, between your cover and your summary is the only reason you are second place (which is still admirable!). Your grammar was good, no noticeable errors that would make me re-read. Your diction was well done. You are very clear in your writing, which is enjoyable. Lastly, your depth and figure got you full points. Very good writing! Congratulations! ~ JessicaGoyette

in third place is unsolicited history by complexity_ with a score of 54/70!

review:

i feel like for poetry covers, it should be simple and yours is that. my only issue is where the text font. other than that, it's great!

i think your poems are very powerful and your diction is wow. your metaphors create such vivid imagery, and they're very creative. poetry isn't usually my first pick, but i really did enjoy your poems. however, i don't know how to critique it sadly. just know that your poems hurt a lot and made me smile as well. ~ Jells_

congrats to all the winners!
