tied for first place is beneath the vaults by AmyMarieZ and fragments of love by sarah3435 with a score of 55/60!
review for beneath the vaults:
Top three things I liked:
-Chilling Descriptions: I love how bone chilling your descriptions are when describing the symptoms, especially in Chapter 1 & 2.
-Suspense: You use your adjectives beautifully to create suspense that left me on the edge of my seat when reading Chapter 4 & 5.
-The blurb & Chapter 1: This has got to be my favourite bit about the novel so far. When reading the first part of the blurb I thought, "Oh, I'm going to see him having a one night stand with some randomer", but no. You completely shattered my expectations, and it added more suspense and mystery to your novel. Thank you!
What I didn't like:
Unsurprisingly, I couldn't find many errors in this novel. The only thing that stood out to me was this one simile "My words caught like cement in my throat " in Chapter 2. It's a bit of an odd comparison to me and I would suggest changing it to something else. ~ bjconnor
review for fragments of love:
Very interesting and unique concept. I loved it. Title, cover and summary are apt. No complaints. I loved the beginning and happy to read something different. Really enjoyed it. ~ Cxptured_heart
in second place is infection by coykoi84 with a score of 54.5/60!
review:
Top Two Things I liked:
-The grip factor: From the moment I read the first line I was hooked. I felt like I was dragged head first into the story, and I enjoyed it.
-The insight to how the disease began: I wasn't expecting it to start where it did with Michael but I will admit, I loved how he was seen as a lovely person but underneath that smile was a complete psychopath.
Things I didn't like:
Just one thing: The cover. It just looks like whoever made it just pasted text on an image they found and then rest is history. ~ BJConnor
in third place is the crime in callahan's morrow by meredithall with a score of 53/60!
review:
Everything is well set; title, cover, summary, the beginning and the narration. Various supernaturals and their features are explained well and blended with the ongoing narrative smoothly. Giuseppe Viola is a really intriguing character. The story is a different, fresh and interesting read. Cxptured_heart
