2 Months later...
"(sniffs) I'll miss you." Naomi said while whimpering, her voice sounding raspy on the phone.
"I'll miss you too, I am sorry, I couldn't hang out with you much in the past two months. Packing for Soal got me really busy." I said with guilt in my tone. Guilt because I was lying to my best friend, it wasn't the packing that made me avoid her, it was the training. I couldn't even watch a movie with her after I joined '13-19'.
In these 2 months, I trained every evening for 2-3 hours. It isn't much, but it's enough for my first few months in Soal. My training will be further continued in the NIA branch of Soal. According to Brandon, my shooting skills have improved significantly. My only drawback is my weight which... (nervous laughter)... is the cause of my other drawbacks such as hand-to-hand combat, running, etc.
"Hello, earth to Taylor! Are you even listening?" Naomi whined.
"Yeah... what?" I came out of my thoughts.
"Sis, your this problem of 'Zoning out' will get you in trouble someday." Naomi said in an annoyed tone.
"What did you say before that?" I asked, completely ignoring her last statement.
"I was saying that, have a safe flight, contact me once your flight lands and search for 'Niall and The Potatoes' products for me.
'Niall and The Potatoes' is Naomi's favorite boy band.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Ok I'll."
I watch our minibus approaching the airport.
"I have to hang up now, we almost reached the airport. I'll contact you once I land. Bye." I said in a hurry.
"Bye," Naomi said while sighing deeply.
Goodbyes are sad, emotionally and traditionally.
