Chapter 4: The Journey Begins
Once I told the pups to go to the back of the cave, I went out to see if the other wolf was gone. But once I went outside, I saw her exploring my territory. I rushed back in the cave and cuddled with my pups to keep them calm, but then I could smell that she was in the cave and getting closer. So I softly growled just for her to hear, and she did, but she responded with bark to let me know that she was friendly. But I'm a lone wolf, so I trust no one but my pups. So she walks closer until she sees that I'm hiding something, so Shade asks what is behind me. Moon answers with the response that made me proud she said "it's rude to go in someone else's cave if not invited." then she said who said that and Star replied with "your little brain" I laughed so hard at this that I had to say good job pups. And the wolf said my name is Shade and I'm here to teach you how to be fierce, brave, and confident just like me. Which made me and the pups laugh. She said what is so funny Moon and Star jumped out and growled: "our mom is every single one of those things now leave.". Shade was a little hurt, but then she said: " I saw you only trying to catch small prey, why is that if you can catch elk and moose?". I respond with: " why are you in my business, and I was doing it for my pups so back off.".
