Chapter 21: Demise and Redwood
When I saw Will and Shade cuddling that night, I thought: " If she is happy, then I will let them be, he may remind me of an old friend, but I will not cry again when the others are here.". So from then on to cry and not to want to be found, I would sneak out at night and run to my spot and cry. The one thing that I have to cautious is about coming back before the others woke up. Until one night, I woke up Redwood by accident. He followed me as I ran to my spot. When he figured out that I went here often by the place I was laying in was worn out. Then he realized I came here to cry. He ran up and licked the tears immediately as they fell from my eyes. When I looked up, I was so apologetic that I started to cry again, " I'm so sorry I didn't mean to bother you!", He asked if I came here every night. I said, yes. Then it hit me; it was almost sunrise. I said, " We have to go NOW!!" he said why. The others will be up soon. Then we ran and layed down and didn't realize that we both laid next to the pups. When the others woke up, they stared and giggled. The puppies and we had muddy paws and covered in dirt. They asked if we were in the rain last night. Us and the puppies laughed so hard, but Redwood would be the only one who knew the truth.
