Chapter 2-Pranks?Time for fun.

7:45 P.M~Night

Wortox finally woke up.He felt the blanket on top of him and felt a little hot,tossing it to the right of him.He looked around for his friend.She had fell asleep on her bed,barely holding a small notebook in her hand.Wortox took it away,and slipped it into a nearby drawer.He than walked to her bedroom door and began opening it,making a loud creaky noise.Wortox was just about to leave the room when he heard his friend talking to him.She got up and looked at him tiredly."I see you Wortox..where are you going..?"She asked.The Imp closed the door and looked back at the tired girl."I'm leaving you see.I am overdoing my stay.."He replied,hoping she'd understand.She nodded a few seconds later."Will you come back tomorrow?"Beverley asked him.He thought about it."If you insist,than yes.I'll come back,hyuyu."Wortox replied.The girl smiled,hearing the Imp's laugh."I'll be going now.See you.."The Imp replied as he left the room.He headed outside through the back door and stared out at the darkness.If he were step out into it,would the demons of The Constant come and kill him?It was a risk that he was sadly willing to take.Wortox went out into the night,walking back to the clearing where he met his friend.He didn't hear any creepy whooshing sounds,so he assumed that there weren't any demons.Once he returned back home,he made sure he flute was intact and still next to the stump.The furry imp laid down to sleep,and drifted away in the night.

10:16 A:M~Morning

Wortox was finally waking up from his long rest.He pulled himself off of the trunk and yawned.The sluggish Imp walked around,slowly remembering that he was to go back to see his friend again.He grabbed his flute and started walking back to her homey house.This time he noticed a car parked in a gravely driveway.He slipped past it rather quickly,fearing that Beverley's parents would come out and see him wondering about their home.Wortox came upon the back door.He didn't really know what to do from that point.He couldn't get in without Beverely's help.He walked a few feet from the backdoor and got into a bush,making quite the amount of sound.It seemed that it might've woken Beverley up,because she looked out her window a few seconds later.She looked around slowly,and curiously."W..wortox?Are you out here?"She asked.The Imp revealed himself on question."I came back just like you wanted,hyuyu."He replied to her little question."I'll come get the door.."The girl continued as the Imp waited.She came down a minute later and unlocked the door for Wortox.He came inside and followed her up to her bedroom."Aren't your parents home?Perhaps I shouldn't be here.."Wortox said as he looked around her room with some fright."It's okay..calm down.Mom and Dad are asleep,and I walk to school.If you still wanna do the prank,we've gotta get you a disguise!"She said as she sat on her bed."A disguise huh?Hyuyu!I like the way you think!"Wortox said as he kept listening to the little scheme."I have to get ready for school okay?I'll also get your thing ready."Beverley said.The Imp nodded as his girly friend left the room.He began looking around the room,eventually finding a stopwatch.It was slightly cracked and showed off a gold frame.It probably still worked.Wortox picked it up and it sat soft in his paw.The little thing felt important.Beverley returned to her room,not making a slightest sound.She approached Wortox on his side and slowly reached out for his paw.The Imp saw her coming and flinched hard,stepping backwards into a bookshelf."Be careful...for I might just steal your soul Beverley..."Wortox said as he tried to calm down."I'm sorry!I only wanted to show you something!"She replied as she looked at the stopwatch.Wortox moved toward her a bit,to let her show him."This was my grandpa's stopwatch.He was a commander in the army!He made his troops do drills and he used this very stopwatch.After he retired a year ago,he gave it to me as a gift.Ever since,I've kept it in the such condition."Beverley said.Wortox smiled."It is a very nice..watch."The Imp replied.He put it down,back where he found it.He was still trembling from the recent event.After calming down Beverley gave him the disguise.It consisted of a black hoodie and pants.Wortox seemed a little confused,but he's wore clothes before.He put them on and looked in a mirror."Is this jacket supposed to make my face not very visible?"Wortox asked.His friend smiled."Yeah.I meant for that.You see..you've kinda got to go to school for this prank.Are you still up to it?"She asked,trying not to scare him into not doing it."What's the worst that could happen?"He replied."Great!It's about time to go,so we should get going."The girl said as she left her room,dragging the Imp along behind her.The two left the small cozy home and began walking down the long dusty path.It took about 20 minutes of trotting along the path,but the two finally reached the school.In fact,it was in the middle of a decently sized town.Beverley led Wortox to a pair of doors that were open.It lead to the cafeteria,and the two took the closet seats,conveniently next to Beverley's friends.They quickly noticed her and the hidden Wortox.By now,it was about 10:35."Hey Nick,Judy.I'm here now!"Beverley said."It's about time you arrived Bev.I thought you'd be late,and that you've would've been..."-"Late for school."Judy continued."Who's the new kid with you?"Nick asked.The siblings looked over at Wortox.He looked back,and they barely saw his snout."Greetings."
Wortox said.Nick and Judy looked at Bev."You..brought him here..?Is he helping in the pranks too?We need to get a better placement this year.Judy said.Bev nodded."I need to explain the plan to him first though.."The previously nodded girl continued.She pointed at a small group of three boys across the room."See them?Those guys love messing with us.We plan on getting them back today,for good this time."Bev said.Wortox rubbed his paws together,fittingly."We are going to have much fun..hyuyuyu.."He said.

12:15-Classroom 417~Noon

Beverley and her friends sat at a table next to a window.Wortox sat just outside,letting his horns stick out so they'd know that he was still there.It was only a few minutes until free time,and that's when the majority of the glass would go outside to play.Once everyone left the classroom,the plan will commence and pranks will be unleashed.The clock was ticking...slowly.It was finally the time.Bev turned around and gave Wortox a signal,letting him know that this was the group's chance at the competition.Nick picked up a video camera from a nearby desk.Judy started to head for the classroom door when she turned toward the boys."Hey fish heads!Come catch me!"She said as she bolted out of the class.The boys got up and ran after her."I'll show you fish head!"One said.Nick followed close behind the four.Somewhat down the hall,the principal appeared and saw the kids running through the hall and called out to them."Hey kids!What are you doing?!"He yelled as Judy,the boys,and Nick were coming up on him."Our part for Prankathon!"Judy yelled as she sprinted past,darting down a right hallway."Oh,well carry on."The Principal said.Bev made it to where she was supposed to meet up with Wortox.She opened the doors that he was waiting outside of and handed him some rope."We need to tie these to the wood sticks in front of the door.When they get here,they'll fall over it,and I'll need you to use the ladder right there and tip over the glitter bucket above the door,okay?"Bev explained to the Imp.He nodded and helped her put the rope together.Judy could now be seen coming down the hall."Incoming!"She yelled as she went full speed and jumped over the hardly visible rope.The boys kept running and just as planned,they fell over it,and the Imp doused them in glitter.Nick than ended the taped video.lt was wildly amusing to Wortox,but he managed to keep it to himself."We've got a nice video this year!We're sure to get a good spot this time."Judy said.The boys were now getting up."Not if I do something about it..see you at next period."The opposed leader of the boys said as they walked away,back into the school.Wortox came down to greet his friends again."Who are these..amusements anyways..?He asked."That's Blitz,the leader,and his two followed,Brian and Pablo."Bev said."I'm guessing they want to get back at us next period.We have two free periods after all."Nick said."Let's go to the field.We have loads of stuff out there and we can still talk with Wortox."Judy said.All four agreed and made their way there.

~At the field~

The three sat around the playground.It was relatively empty."After school,we should hang out,get to know Wortox more!"Beverley said.Nick nodded and his glasses fell off.As he went to retrieve them,he heard a cracking sound.He looked up slowly and saw the three boys,and his broken glasses.He scampered backwards,suddenly realising how important his glasses were.His sister helped him back to his feet."Come on guys..we can talk about this..It was just for the competition!"Bev said.Blitz shrugged his shoulders,went up to Bev and pushed her to the ground.Wortox trying to stay hidden,and stared at the boy."You need to delete the video."Pablo said.Bev shook her head."We can't.It might be our only chance to win this year!"She replied.Blitz balled his fists."I guess we'll do this the non-easy way."He said."You could've just said hard."Blitz said."Shut up Blitz.I don't need this right now when I'm about to pummel someone."He continued.All of a sudden,he was hit with a stick.He turned around."Dance with me piggy pig!"Wortox said,taunting the boy."You wanna fight?"Blitz quickly replied."I want to play!"The Imp continued.His hood fell down,revealing himself. The boy nodded and ran towards him,just to tripped by the Imp.It amused Wortox.Blitz tried to get up again,but before he did,the Imp pushed up against the nearby swing,making it come back and hit the boy back to the ground.The acts of foolishness were only repeated once more,before Blitz just gave up on trying to fight."You no longer entertain me."Wortox said as he put a twig in Blitz's hair.Nick helped Bev get up,somehow.The Imp declared victory."I'll take my leave.Hyuyuyu!"Wortox chuckled as he walked away,waving to his three friends.He'd wait for them back at home.
