Mason Wesley, yep that's me! I'm 15 years old, but my life is way worse than yours... trust me. I have to go through hell in The Bluff, but at least I have a pretty nice sister. I also have a...
"Mason!" yelled Arden.
"Yes?"
"I need to talk to you about Halsey."
"Okay hold on."
Anyways as I was saying I also have a crush on a girl named Halsey. She's perfect. She has the most beautiful blonde hair and blue eyes. Even though she's one year younger than me that's okay. I think she also has a crush on me too, but it's not been confirmed.
"Mason?!?" yelled Arden once again.
"Coming."
"Mason, I have major tea for you!" She exclaims.
"Okay... tell me."
"Halsey told me she liked you, but didn't think you liked her!" She began to tell me all the tea about what Halsey told her. I was so happy!
"What should I do?" I asked Arden.
"Mason are you that dumb, like seriously?obviously you tell her how you feel!" Arden told me in a bitchy tone.
"Ugh, okay but you don't have to be such a... never mind. I'll go talk to her now since I finished my homeschooling and chores."
"Well, remember you have to be in bed by dark, you know the law." Arden said in a strict tone.
"Okay love you, bye." I said as I was getting my phone and walking out the door.
When I walked out the door I texted Halsey and said, "Hey Halsey, I wanna talk to you about something I've had on my mind for a long while now, can you meet me in the alley behind the diner please?"  She responded within a minute and said, "Okay, I'll be there in a minute."
I got there a few minutes before 5:00 so that means I had an hour to gain the courage to talk to Halsey about how I feel. I then see her into the alley.
   "Hey Halsey." I said.
   "Hey Mason." she responded sadly.
"What's wrong?" I asked in curiosity.
"My brother, Liam, tried escaping and got caught and hasn't came back already and that was three days ago. I'm really scared Mason."
She then puts her head on my shoulder and cries. We sit there and look at the sky but I decide not to tell her how I feel about her because of what she is going through. It eventually becomes 5:50 and I don't want to go but it's the law. I still had to tell her something though. So it just comes out like this...
"Well I just want you to know that I'm always here for you, and I have one question for you." I said not thinking about it until after I said something.
"Okay thank you so much, and what is it?" She asked.
