I get to the diner to see Halsey. We eat then talk while holding hands. "So Halsey wanna come to my house and talk to Arden? You haven't talked to her lately. She keeps asking about you."
"Sure, I'd love to go to your house I haven't seen Arden or your mom in ages." She said excitingly.
"Okay let's go!" We start heading home walking side to side holding hands. When we get home we go upstairs and she stays in Arden's room for the rest of the day. While she is in there I go out to see Coltan. I'd say that he is my only friend other than Halsey and Arden.
"Hey Coltan!" I yelled at him since he was inside.
"Coming Mason!" He yelled back. That was the first time I ever heard Coltan yell that loud.
"Hey Mason." He says as walking out the door.
"Hey man. Wanna go shoot some baskets? My girlfriend Halsey is in my sister Arden's room, so I have some time to kill."
"Oh sure, how long have you and Halsey been together?" He asked curiously.
"Actually only like 2 days ago is when we actually started dating." I say as we start heading over to the courts. "So how long have you played basketball?" I asked Coltan.
"You know ever since I got forced to move here I went to the courts to shoot because I had nothing else to do." Coltan said in his quiet tone.
"Good that means I have good competition." I said while chucking. Around 5 we went home, I said bye, and got Halsey and walked her home.
"Alright, Mason thanks for walking me home goodnight I love you." She said anxiously.
"Your welcome, goodnight." I said quietly and walked away when she walked inside. I start heading home just wishing I could be in the real world with Halsey and having a nice normal life.
