   "Okay." He says so simply.
"What just like that? You would just do that? You would risk it all for me?" I ask.
"Of course. Tell me when and where, I'll be there."
"Okay so the plan would be we leave here at midnight. I don't know where we should meet you though. I don't think you should get really close." I begin to think, but I realize I have no idea what is out there or what's close. "Parker I don't know anything close to out of here. I don't know where we could meet do you?" I ask.
"Yes, there is a gas station about two or three miles away from The Bluff. Do you think that is far enough away?" He asks.
"Nothing is far enough." I pause. "I want you to understand how much trouble we are gonna be in. We will have to run and I don't know for how long. If we get caught, I don't know what will happen. I've heard rumors."
"I don't care about the rumors because I won't let you get caught. I'm not worried Adren."
"Okay Parker." The phone goes silent. I really hope he knows what he's doing. I don't want to be the one to put him through this. I have no other options. "I've got to pack. I'll see you later."
"Okay please be careful and I love you Arden."
"I love you" I hang up the phone and fall back on my bed. This is crazy. In less than 6 hours I would hopefully be with Parker away from this hell hole. I stand up and grab my backpack off the hook near my bedroom door. I go through my dresser grabbing items that I will need. I neatly fold my clothes and shove them in my bag. I have an hour before I have to be at Kat's house, so I take a nap.
I wake up and turn my alarm off that i had set before. I text Kat and tell her I'm on my way. I put on my converse and a green sweater. I grab my bag before I walk out of my bedroom door for the last time. I turn to look at the tiny, little room one last time. I don't want to be emotional about all this, but I can't help myself. A tear rolls down my cheek as i shut my door.
I make it to Kat's and she's still on her bed playing with a black lighter. "Hello bitch." She smirks. Her backpack with buttons and pins sits in the floor ready to go. I sit mine down next to hers as I sit down with her.
   "Are you nervous?" I ask.
"Um yeah maybe a little." she says back. "I've not really thought about it because I know if I do, I'll be even more nervous."
"Yeah me too." The room goes quite as my phone rings. "It's Colton, they must be ready."
