"AUSTA!" Ailith's shriek could've been heard in Valhalla.
"Would you shut up?! Being that loud will draw unwanted attention." Astra whisper shout, the two girls were walking through the darker forest, so things looked weary.
"Good, I was afraid I wasn't projecting enough." The brunette said casually then shrieked Austa's name again.
"I'm here! I'm here! Odin's beard..." Austa exclaimed, coming from behind a tree. She then gets the back hand of Astra to the side of her cheek.
"WATCH YOU'RE F*CKING LANGUAGE!" The redhead shrieks, louder than Ailith the first time.
"Um, can I get a slap in there?" Ailith asked, her hand raised.
"No! No more slapping!" Austa said in a rush, slowly dragging Ailith's hand back to her side.
"Where were ya?" Ailith asked, leaning on one leg and crossing her arms over her chest.
"I-uh..." Austa wasn't sure if she should say, the dragon didn't seem to keen on making a new friend, let alone two more, plus two dragons. "I just wanted a walk." She shrugged.
"So did I, and I ended up getting the Scourge of Odin!" Ailith said, with a sassy posture too.
"Yeah yeah, well I'm not as foolish as you to hop upon an abandoned ship..." Austa snapped, she didn't mean to but she didn't like this pressure, she didn't wanna tell them of the majestic dragon she met. Ailith's eyes widened and she dropped her folded arms.
"Right." She scoffed and looked ya the ground.
"Ailith, I'm sorry."
"No, no, it's fine, I was foolish. But it was that foolishness that got me Hunter!" Ailith said, her eyes glistened with...tears. She took what Austa said to heart.
The brunette then turned and walked off. Astra watched her go then turned to Austa.
"Okay tell me the truth." She ordered her.
"Come again?" Austa questioned curiously.
"You're not that harsh, you have a giveaway when your lying which I'm not gonna tell you because then you'll stop doing it, and also you found a dragon." She listed all the facts she got from a look the blonde gave.
"How..?"
"I'm a Haddock, hun, I know things, and when people are lying is a special skill of mine." Astra smirked.
Austa sighs deeply in great irritation. "Yes, I found a dragon..." She replies with an eye roll.
"Seriously?! What species is it?! What class it?!" Astra was too excited to stay quiet, which earned herself a light punch on the shoulder.
"Keep it down! I had no intentions to tell you both, therefore I have no intentions at telling Ailith, this dragon, she seemed...unsociable would be a good word." Austa explained. "If I'm up early for a 'walk', don't follow me! Because I'm coming back tomorrow, she was injured..."
"Well if she's injurer we can help!" Astra suggested.
"No! You help she'll bond with you guys too! You guys have dragons! Please, Astra, I'm begging you! Let me taste freedom again!" Austa pleaded, taking Astra's hands and looking deeply into her eyes, showing strong sincerity.
Astra sighed deeply, she understood where Austa was coming from, she nodded reluctantly. "Okay fine, but at least carry your sword. Just in case." She said in an ordering tone.
Austa smiled brightly and after adjusting her sword in it's sheath she threw her arms around the redhead. "Thank you!" She whispered.
Astra smiled and returned the embrace, but looked to the left with worrying eyes as her smile fell. She did want her friend to be happy, but she also wanted her safe, and this seemed like a dangerous job.
