"Bala Boyz apartment later, you on it?" I read the text aloud and shook my head. This girl always had some sort of motive she wanted to drag me to. Who were the Bala Boyz anyway? Like clockwork, my phone began to ring.
"Yes how can I help you Armani?" I sighed putting my phone to my ear, I knew I was about to get an earful. "Amirah I'm so tired of you staying in the house wallowing in self pity, we are going to this apartment. I've already called Grace and Naz so we are going point blank period".
I rolled my eyes, this girl seems to forget who the older sister is. I must admit she was right, I couldn't stay home isolating myself. One little night out won't hurt. "I'm in" I was met with an excited scream, "Yes I love you, gotta go now bye sis" and before I could even answer, she had cut off.
If I was going to go to this apartment, I needed to find an outfit and quite fast. I hadn't been out in a while since I had come out of my relationship.
My ex had cheated several times and I couldn't bring myself to leave until a baby came with the cheating. That's when I knew I had to get my ass up and out of there. I had wallowed for 2 months, it was time for me to get back to the Amirah everyone missed.
Looking through my wardrobe, I decided on a goldish bodysuit with matching trousers and a little silver choker. I had just gotten my new ash blonde wig so everything was looking good so far. I jumped in the shower and got myself together. "Wheww look at you Ami" , I squealed to myself in the mirror once I was done. I grabbed my car keys and headed to my bestfriend Grace's house where the rest of the girls were waiting.
Our group was tight knitted, there was only four of us. Armani was my half sister, same dad and different mums. You wouldn't be able to tell though, we were almost inseparable. Grace and Nazifa have been my bestfriends since I can remember. We all grew up on a Canning Town estate so we had never known anyone else. It was just us, the famous four.
I pulled up outside Grace's bit and beeped my horn so they knew I was outside. The three of them came out looking gorgeous "Look at my sisters all dolled up", I shouted as they got into the car. "Girl are you ready to meet your new mans" Grace said looking at me as she clapped and danced in her seat. I just gave her a look and turned my keys. "Let's go before I change my mind", I said sighing.
