A little bit about the song selections, you may notice that they share similar ambient and genre. The way I arrange songs into a writing playlist is like assembling a design moodboard. The dominant classical and soft, melancholic instrumental songs are a way of capturing the historical elements and gloomy setting of Scottish Highlands where the story takes place, as well as to reflect Cornelius' initial depressing state (Speaking of Scotland, looks like I haven't added any Scottish music in the playlist, eh? Which gives me something to consider).

The following list is a number of selected songs from my Translucent playlist. These songs affected my writing process, helped develop characters, and helped me get in the mood of some scenes.

Anyways, enjoy!

1. Look Through My Eyes – Phil Collins

2. Gravity – Coldplay

3. Iris – Goo Goo Dolls

4. Charms – Abel Korzeniowski

5. Colour Me In – Damien Rice

6. Liz On Top Of The World (From "Pride & Prejudice" Soundtrack) – Jean-Yves Thibaudet

7. Nocturne No. 20 – Frederic Chopin

8. By Night – Sophie Hutchings

9. Small Memory – Jon Hopkins

10. Turning Page – Sleeping At Last

11. The Second You Sleep – Saybia

12. Etude in E Minor, Op. 25: No. 5 – Francisco Tarrega

13. Bella's Lullaby – Carter Burwell
