The air is so brittle it could snap, and if it doesn't, I might. No-one speaks, what is there to say?
Natsu and Richard were staring each other down.
"You may begin when you're ready," Makarov announced.
"You may have the first move, Richard," Natsu smirked.
"That's kind of you, Natsu . . . ELECTRIC WHIP!" Richard yelled raising his arm on Natsu's leg.
Natsu was sent flying through a wall while Richard slammed him into the ground hard.
Natsu rushed towards Richard and shouted "FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST!"
Richard then punched Natsu back down to the ground. Natsu crashed into the ground, but he was back on his feet in no time. Richard then flew into the air and attacked Natsu.
"ELECTRIC STORM" Richard yelled.
Natsu dodged Richard's attack when Richard landed it made a cloud of dust. Natsu fired another fire dragon's roar at Richard. Natsu could the yell Richard made when his fire dragon's roar hit him.
"You can't be done already?!" Natsu perceived disappointingly.
"Nope, not even close. ELECTRIC BLITZ!" Richard shouted.
Natsu was then pulled towards the cloud of dust.
"Idiot. You made it easier to hit you." Natsu said reacquiring his balance but still being pulled towards the dust cloud.
Natsu then threw a punch, but he hit nothing.
"What the?... Where did you go?" Natsu responded agitated to see that Richard disappeared.
"NATURE'S OATH!" Richard screamed.
Richard came bursting from the ground and uppercut Natsu.
"How did you?... " Natsu said before Richard's punch hit him.
"When I used Electric Blitz I made a small hole in the ground. After, I used Nature's Oath jumped into the hole then . . . well, you know." Richard demonstrated cracking a smile.
"I don't give a damn."
"You give so many damns they're visible from SPACE."
"FIRE DRAGON'S ROAR!" Natsu yelled out as he let out a roar.
The flames danced and leapt in the air, reaching hungrily for anything that they can consume to fuel their wrath. Natsu jumped back and he laughed at Richard.
"I'm overwhelmed that you managed to stay standing after that attack," Natsu answered clapping his hands in a hostile way.
"I am full of surprises. ELECTRIC BURST!"
Richard clapped both of his hands together and a circle formed around Natsu.
"I would not call whatever that is pleasantly surprising." Natsu laughed and then fired another amount of his flames.
The flames bounced back towards Natsu and hit him.
"So you're just gonna keep me in here?" Natsu suspected.
"No, just to make sure you don't move for this next attack," Richard remarked.
Richard clapped both hands together again then raised above his head. Richard then pulled his hands away from each other and Natsu saw electricity getting pulled towards the space between Richard's hands.
"THUNDER BOMB!" Richard said then threw the ball of thunder when he thought it was big enough.
Since Natsu was trapped in Richard's Electric Burst, he could do nothing but brace for impact. The Thunder Bomb passed through and hit Natsu causing electricity to be pushed out in all directions with an immense amount of strength. Natsu was sent flying backwards.
"Had enough yet Natsu?" Richard questioned.
Richard heard Natsu laughing.
"Nope, I'm just getting fired up. I can see that you have more power than I thought. This fight won't so boring after all". Natsu snorted in amusement.
"I'm glad that I am not a disappointment," Richard stated readying himself for the next round.
Natsu smiled and then replied,
"I heard that you're good at hand-to-hand combat. Wanna see whose better?"
Richard nodded then both he and Natsu charged at each other and threw a punch. Their fists collided and a shock wave was sent out. Makarov and Camryn, who were watching from a distance could feel Richard's and Natsu's fists collide.
"Incredible. I didn't know Richard or Natsu had that much power." Camryn assumed.
"Yes, I believe that both of them are holding back," Makarov stated.
"So Richard is fighting Natsu. This could be interesting." Gray announced.
"Who do you think will win Camryn? I mean you do know Richard better than the rest of us." Lucy inquired.
"I don't know, it's too early to say," Camryn responded.
Richard and Natsu were still fighting hand-to-hand and it looked like they were evenly matched. Richard and Natsu jumped back a bit and were breathing heavily.
Natsu charged towards Richard and shouted,
"FIRE DRAGON'S WING ATTACK!"
Richard lunged at Natsu screaming,
"ELECTRIC GOD'S STATIC HAIL!"
The two attacks collided and there was a small explosion. When the dust settled, Richard was standing above a knocked-out Natsu.
