Inside and out

Plan goes wrong

Elaine and Theo look at each other panicked; As soldiers are running past and bombs are going off around them. They can barely speak since the bombs are so loud they yell  to each other "I'M SCARED!" Elaine tells Theo. "I AM TOO!" They are left with no choice; they have to fight. Elaine and Theo run as fast as they could go. People are afraid and trying to protect each other. The women gathered their kids and hide whilst the men were trying to fight off the army. The army fight relentlessly until dawn. The wave of attacks is over for now; the bombs stop going off. It becomes silent Theo and Elaine are relieved.
"Should we find somewhere to talk and relax?" Elaine asked

"Yea theres a building over there That's still in good condition." Theo stated

They make their way there inside the half torn building; it was dim but not completely dark. The sun crept in from the exposed roof. they sit down and chatted up a bit.

Elaine sighs "God... I've never even held a gun let alone fight a war I can't fight this war."

Theo sighs "I'm not a fighter I used to be psychologist before the war; I'm supposed to help people after the war not fight it" 

Elaine shyly confesses "My name isn't actually James, it's Elaine I'm a woman not a man."

Theo is shocked by the news and freaks out "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE THEN WHY DID YOU DO THIS?!"  She shushes him and calms him down.  Elaine reaches into her uniform pockets and takes out her star of david necklace.

"I know that they are coming after people of my own religion, but I don't know why they are doing this we have done nothing wrong. I disguised myself so I would be able to escape to the U.S easier, but then you found me. "  Elaine tells Theo

"I'm Jewish too I also tried to disguise myself to get out of the mess that our community is going through. I don't know what's going on there, I can tell you right now it's not good. I saw one place where they were kept; they were in these stripped uniforms and had shaved heads."  Theo explained

"The U.S is probably not a bad place to try to get to; I'm in." Theo agrees

The next thing they knew they were being attacked by two soldiers. One went to attack Elaine and the other attacked Theo; Elaine struggled to get off of her, but she was too weak. The soldier knocks her out. Theo manages to get his knife out of his pocket and stab him in the arm. "ELAINE!" Theo screams. The soldier beats Him and knocks him out.
