Theo wakes up on the cold hard ground; people stepping on him. Everything is a blur to him; he can't process anything going on. Men are yelling in the bunks. Somehow Theo gets thrown to the front of the room; a guard stands ominously in front of him. The guard forcefully picks him up and pushes him forward. Along the way Theo notices construction inside and sees people in gas masks. As the guard keeps pushing him forward; they arrive to a room. The guard slams him down in the chair in the room and straps him in; the guard leans over in agression.
"What you saw back there is not to be said to ANYONE!" The guard yelled.
"And why not" Theo threatens
The guard punches him in the face "Do as I say! I will not hesitate to kill you if need be." The guard slowly leans away from Theo. "Now I have some questions for you." He stated threateningly
"Can you build?" The guard asks
"Yes" Theo lied
"Can you make outlines for building"
"Yes" Theo lied again
"Good" The guard said
The guard seemed satisfied; he unstraps Theo and escorts him to the outside entrance. The guard gets The tools, and paper for him. Theo in relief as he thought it would've been his end.
"Here is everything you need. Welcome to Mauthausen." The guard said and then proceeded to push Theo out.
Theo begins to build a bunk room. As he gets started working he overhears two men talking, and they both get shot right next to him. Theo panicked had no choice, but to keep working. He starts sweating profusely; the sun right on him. It feels like an eternity just working profusely; eventually the hours pass and a whistle goes off. Everyone heads inside to eat; as Theo walks by he hears women screaming a few feet away. He hears himself say "Elaine" in concern.
