After the Arkham incident, Scarecrow was found and taken to Arkham.
All residents were brought back into Gotham as the militia stood down and surrendered. While this had taken place, you had taken your father home, using the batmobile. He was quite surprised to learn that you knew how to use it, given that he refused to show you. But, nonetheless, he allowed it, even if it were for a brief period. You sped through all of the security systems, quickly driving into the Batcave. Alfred and everyone else greeted you, giving you hugs as they were glad to find you safe and sound. You saluted them all before trailing upstairs to grab a few of your things from your room,
"Leaving so soon?"
you were so caught up in searching for some clean clothes, you had failed to notice Dick come up from behind,
"Yea," you sighed out, leaning back and splaying yourself on your bed. The male took this as a sign to advance, casually sitting down on the edge,
"I know if I stay here, I'll never get to be alone. They'll all just try to get what happened tonight out of me."
Dick nodded in understanding. He didn't know how you felt, but he did know that when it came to your emotions, you were quite similar to bruce. You preferred to be alone, and just have some time to think, instead of sitting in a group circle and seeking pity,
"Are you sure you'll be fine alone sis?"
You smiled and rolled your eyes at your brother. He was always so caring, so overprotective. In your mind, you remembered when he would hold your hand at all times, making sure you wouldn't fall or wander away. This was back when Bruce first introduced you to him and Alfred. You were only five years old,
"I'll be fine. Please, just take care of dad, and make sure Tim, Cass, Damian, Barbara, Alfred, - just make sure everyone stays safe"
He nodded, chuckling at the way you interrupted your own words. There were a lot of people to care for in this household,
"Alright, then. Have a good night."
He stood, leaning over to give you a big bear hug. You hugged him tightly, the emotions of missing him now fully kicking in. Dick smiled softly, fluttering his eyes closed as he continued to squeeze you. You leaned back, pulling away from his arms and grabbing your packed bag,
"Take care of yourself, love you, dickie bird."
You left the room before he could react. A smile graced your lips as you heard him murmur a, 'love you, sis', back.

You tiredly flipped the light switch on, trudging to your room. A nice bath sounded good right about now. Grabbing some clothes and a robe from your bag, you started the water, sitting on the edge of the tub to watch it fill up. Quiet music sauntered across your apartment walls, taking refuge in the echos of your bathroom tiles. You were prone to leaving your battery-powered radio on in the bedroom, and it just so happened that the smooth melodies of Gotham's antic tunes donned sad little tunes, conjuring even the worst of emotions to arise again.
As a distraction, a killer headache was fighting its way through your brain. You moved over to your cupboard above the bathroom sink, snatching some Advil before waddling over to the kitchen to grab a water bottle. Once you had plopped down beside the tub again, you downed your pills, allowing the cool flavorless liquid to follow closely behind. At last, the night was finally over. Yet, you couldn't stop yourself from thinking about it. Besides the fact that Jason was mentally unstable, you spent the better half of your relationship in denial.
