Nalalapit na ang fiesta ng Mesqueta. Ilang araw na lang ay gaganapin na ito kaya kailangang maghanda.
"Why don't we add something new, Your Highness?" a councilor said.
"Yes, Mr. Evans, I'm very open for suggestions. Something new like?" sambit ko nang may pekeng ngiti sa aking labi.
"Like different events so the people can have more fun, Your Highness."
"Or small parties? Kasabay nito ang Thanksgiving Day, hindi ba?"
Maraming nagbigay ng kani-kanilang mungkahi, and I considered everything. Dapat ay maging abala ang mga tao sa pagpapakasaya dahil hindi ko kakayaning tumagal sa pagsasalong iyon.
The Feast of Royal Family is a celebration which aims to honour the royal family itself. It's more on reminiscing memories, thanksgiving, appreciation, and everything. It's all about my family. Paano ko tatagalan iyon kung isa iyon sa mga bagay na magsasampal sa akin ng katotohanang ako na lang mag-isa?
I teleported from the Palace to District IX after the meeting was adjourned. Silver asked me to come over because today was his Dad's birthday. Ngayon din pala ang araw ng paglabas ng mga estudyante sa L.A. para makapagsaya o makauwi sa kanilang mga pamilya.
Nagsimula na akong maglakad papasok. Wala akong kasamang mga kawal dahil hadlang lang iyon sa Teleportation at kaya ko ang sarili ko.
Malayo pa lang ay tanaw ko na si Silver na nakaupo sa bench sa tapat ng malaking bahay nila. Silver's family seemed to be wealthy. Sila ang may pinakamalaki at magarbong bahay sa baryong ito.
He was excited. His eyes were roaming around with his big big smile on his face. Nakakahawa talaga ang pagiging masiyahin niya. Konti na lang ay magiging happy pill ko na siya. Palagi ko iyong naririnig kay Ali. Another human thing.
When it seemed like he finally saw me, he sprinted towards my direction. Wow, he was one quick kiddo.
"Queen!" he excitedly called as he jumped to me. Ngayon ay karga ko na siya habang yakap niya ako. Sweet little one.
"Hey, kid. Are you happy to see me?"
"Of course, Queen! Come, let's eat. We have a lot of foods for our pretty queen." he was all hyped-up until we came inside his house.
Agad nanlaki ang mga mata ng mga magulang ni Silver nang makita nilang buhat ko ang anak nila.
"Oh, my God, Silver baby, why did you let her Highness carry you? I'm so sorry, Queen Alena." Silver's Mom apologized again. She always apologized.
"Nagiging pasaway na ba ang anak kong gwapo? Sige ka, hindi ka na magkakangipin niyan kung makulit ka sa ating reyna." biro naman ng Daddy niya.
"No, it's fine. Happy birthday, Mr. Romanoff."
The visitors were all surprised to see me and all I did was smile and greet them back. Silver, on the other hand, did nothing but entertain me. Hindi niya pinapansin ang mga batang kanina pa siya tinatawag.
"Don't you wanna play with them?" I said but he just shrugged.
"How old are you, Queen? I'm 4 already! I'm a big boy now. Wait until I turn 15 and I'll go to Luctus Academy and learn magic so I can protect you!" makulit na sabi niya.
"I'm 20 years old, Silver. Okay, I'll wait till you turn 15. I'm sure you'll do great."
"My Kuya is older than you. He's already 22. But it's okay. My Dad was 5 years older than my Mom but still, they got married. Marry my Kuya, too!" I heard someone cough as if surprised right after Silver said that.
