Chapter 34

"Mr Green you are free to go! " I heard the warden command but I didn't even move a muscle . To many prisoners , being set free was something to look forward to, something they dreamt of for years, but not me. I had lost everything, my sister, my father and my friend. I had already told the president that if Justin wasn't being released, I wasn't going anywhere either.

It had been  months since Justin and I were locked behind bars for masterminding my own sister's abuse . My dad was the one that sentenced us without a second thought. He didn't even try to listen to my part of the story. I had no idea why Zayn had him under that shorter leash . It was like he couldn't think on his own. I think he even asked him for permission to pee.

My dad loved Cherry more than his own life so I could not understand why he gave her to that monster without a fight. He, even manipulated her to get her to marry him. He knew he was abusing her but he did nothing. It really hurt me that my baby sister was going through hell.

"I told you to tell that president of yours to piss off. He is wasting his damn time because, I am not going anywhere without Justin "

"Fine, but hurry up, I am fed up with this hell hole. " it was Justin's voice. I turned to see him in a dark jeans and dark shirt, instead of the usual orange jampsuit.

"Justin? "I got up and went through the huge door and pulled him into I hug." God you need a serious haircut. "

"Badly, but so do you. "we  bro hugged again before we were led to the gate and into an awaiting cab. I believed my dad had sent for us,because my dad's head of security Steve was at the driver's seat.

" Hey. " I looked at him not intending to answer. For all I knew he could have had my dad listening to everything we were about to say. Steve was insanely loyal to my dad and to be honest, it was admirable.He reached for something under the seat and then pulled out two beers."And after this?"

"Not good enough." I raised the bottle smiling at his bribery method. He reached for something and this time it was burgers. "I love you man" he chuckled before turning on the ignition .

"Your father will be so happy to see you two, the old man has never been the same since he lost the two of you. "

"About that, can we not talk about him? I want to enjoy my freedom with this bottle and this amazing barger, which by the way, I thank you for." I didn't know if I was capable of forgiving that man. He ruined my life, my sister's life, Justin's life and above all, the children at the foundation. Without us, they were lost.

" Alright sir. "he lifted his arms to indicate surrender, but deep down, I could see that it wasn't alright with him.

"Yah on top of that, could you take us to my house? I don't think I  want to see him just yet. "

" Your dad is in danger." He finally muttered. "Especially now that he released Justin, we don't know when Zayn is going to attack, but we know he threatened to."

"He is the president why does he let that guy control everything?" I was getting pissed all together. I was getting pissed at myself for caring. I must admit that when he said that my dad was in danger, a tiny part of me shook at the thought.But the look on Steve's face made me self conscious. I couldn't show softness towards that man until I knew everything. He looked down obviously avoiding to say something. "You know something, don't you?"

"There is something he is holding against my dad, isn't it?" I asked and he nodded slightly. "what? What is this juicy leverage that gave him power to hold an untamable beast by the balls?" I knew my dad hated orders and the way he was being controlled was shocking.
