Sofías POV:
Today was the big day! I was actually excited. I didn't really have lots of friends left in LA so i didn't have much to lose, but it was good to "let go of the past", in a way.
The plane ride was gonna be long. Mateo sat beside me and Tía sat on the row in front of us. Mateo was looking forward to moving in the begging, but now as we boarded the plane i could tell he was sad.
"What's wrong Teo?" I asked him
Mateo: Nothing
Sofía: C'mon you can tell me
Mateo: I'm gonna miss Lauren.
Oh yeah, did i forget to meantion Lauren was my brothers girlfriend? Yeah, they were only dating for 2 months before we moved.. but i always knew they liked each other.
Sofía: I'm not.
Mateo: Why? Isn't she ur best friend or something?
Sofía: That's what i thought too?
Mateo: Well what happened?
Sofía: Nah it's not worth talking about, forget it
Mateo: Ok, whatever you say.
and with that i fell asleep.
