That night I went to bed happy. Much more than I had been in a while. Not that I was unhappy but I definitely didn't feel like this. This was something more. Something special. Am I crazy? Well I mean we already knew the answer to that but this just feels unreal. It may just be one "date" or friend activity- whatever you want to call it- but just how it happened... how it's happening... I don't know but one thing I can say for sure: my life has become a cliché. The "brother's best friend," the instant "hate-to-love," even throwing the pebbles on the window? I just feel a bit overwhelmed, but in the best possible way.
The next morning I woke up, put on my dressing gown, slippers and headed downstairs. I found all the boys, including Aaron, already in the living room. Mila was also there.
"What's for breakfast?" I asked.
"Good morning Zoë. Nice to see you too," said Ant sarcastically.
"Hi Anthony," I said smiling.
"I'm making pancakes," said Max from the kitchen.
"Yay. So what're we doing today?"
"Well we were thinking just hanging out, maybe go to the skatepark?" said Anthony.
"Sounds like a plan."
"Hey, Zo, can I quickly talk to you?" Said Aaron getting up from the couch and walking toward me.
"Uh yeah, sure."
"Ooooooo," said Ant and everyone soon followed and laughed.
Aaron lead me outside to talk on porch in private knowing we wouldn't get any privacy in there.
"So I just-," said Aaron once we were outside and had shut the door.
"One second," I interrupted.
I walked over to the door and opened it. Everyone had their ear to the door and was listening to us.
"Guys! We didn't go outside so you could eavesdrop on us," I said.
"Okay, sorry," they all said frowning and heading back into the living room.
We walked to the side of the house where no one could hear us, eavesdropping or not.
"Okay so I-"
"Aaron, you cant do that! They're all going to think something's up now. If you want to talk to me privately while they're here you have to do it without anyone noticing. I told you, if I agreed to go out with you tonight it has to be top secret okay?"
"I feel like such a bad boy, secret relationship and all."
"Shut up," I said jokingly.
"Okay, I promise I wont ask to talk to you privately again," he said putting his right hand on his heart.
"Thank you. So what did-"
I was cut off by him leaning in and kissing me again. I wrapped my hands around his neck while his were on my lower back. He pulled me in closer and then let go.
"I'll pick you up at eight, same way as last night," he said walking away with his head turned back at me.
I bit my lip and watched him walk away. I walked back inside.
"What was that about?" Asked Ant as we walked back in.
"I-uh-I just wanted to know how much I owed Zoë for the other night's McDonalds," said Aaron, thinking on his feet.
"Uh yeah, he didn't have is wallet on him, wasted and all."
"Very convincing," said Jaden laughing.
"Much like that "tattoo" buddy, but you aren't fooling anyone," Aaron jokingly said.
The guys laughed and then soon we had breakfast. I went upstairs and got ready for the day. I put on some comfy, casual clothes and went back downstairs. We chilled at home for a bit and then went to he skatepark. We all skated for bit, Ant was trying to teach me to do an olly and Mila was just trying to balance on Max's board since she hadn't really skated that much before. Two or three hours later we all went to Will's and chilled there for a bit. That night the boys all went to a party and Mila spent the night at her own house since it was the last night her parents were in town until they left the next day for Indiana. This was all vey convenient considering my plans for the night but not unexpected since I'm convinced I've fallen into a chick flick were everything is uncomplicated and life just flows by. It all just seems too...too..easy. Maybe I'm overreacting, or maybe even under-reacting but I'm not going to let my worrying spoil tonight. Even if it isn't a "date" I'm still excited.
At seven-ish I showered and started getting ready. I wore black high-heeled boots, a red dress with a black belt and a fluffy black jacket. I curled my hair and did my makeup. At exactly eight on the dot I heard a pebble hit my window. I looked out my window and walked downstairs to the front door. I opened the door and saw him standing there, dressed in white T-shirt and a black bomber jacket holding a bouquet of flowers.
"Hi," I said
"You look so beautiful."

Thanks for reading guys! I'm sorry for the short and kinda lame chapter but the next will be better and longer I promise (:
